Hello. Does anyone know of a website where I can print off a picture of the muscular system, so I can label and color myself? Thanks!

Does anyone know of a website, where I can find, how to take blood pressure on a limbless man?

(Of course, there's not any answers for these. lol)

thank you fun2care I apperciate it :)

Sorry for buttin' in like that but I printed the notes which are EXCELLENT.

BTW I did very well on the skeleton test should be close to or may even be 100%. He graded it right then and there and still needs to figure in the bonuspoints. I cried during the test (this never happened before), it was hard as hell. My teacher said I needa shot of whiskey. 3 people took it. My buddy did as good as me and the poor girl that was 'passing' didn't do so well. She might drop tomorrow. Now off to the muscle monster.......and cellular respiration and metabolic pathways. I hope this will not put me 6 feet under :uhoh21:

I am so sorry things aren't going better. It sucks when you're trying really hard and things just aren't coming together. Try not to lose confidence in yourself. Algebra was like that for me...I was certain that I was going to fail right up until my grade was posted. I squeaked out of there with the required 2.0, and I had to do as well as you're saying you have to do on my final in order to pass. I had a 37 on the test right before the final and some really poor scores prior to that, so it's possible.

When you're studying try to look at each thing and imagine the way your instructor will ask a question about it on your test. Write it out and answer it and then make that your study guide.Take every available opportunity to study in open lab if you have it. Also, try to get a good night's sleep the night before and then review again in the morning. Have you talked to your prof and asked what she recommends? And Pray!

If after you've done your best and for some reason still don't pass this time around, then I would take it again. There are at least half a dozen people in my class that are retaking AP1 and most of them seem to be doing a lot better this time around.

The first time I took A&P 1 back in 1991 with full course load (14 credits), I made a D!!! I retook it again with other classes, and only made a C!

Granted I have a totally different mind set, and hopefully am a little more mature than back then. :p I was able to pass it with 101% this time.

A&P 1 is a very difficult class. If you don't or can't give it the time needed, unless you have a photographic memory, you won't do well.

If you are not studying the right way (i.e. just reading instead of looking at pics, etc), you won't do well. (Everyone learns differently. Some people must write everything out, over and over again. Some people have to make flashcards. Some people need to work with a study partner, some alone. Some people may get more out of it having someone read the book out loud to them.)

Try your hardest butterfly. If you don't pass it, take it again next semester!!!! That way it will all be fresh on your mind. Use my quizzes, download stuff off of the internet, go to tutoring, buddy up with someone doing well....whatever it takes!

Good luck, don't let this discourage you. Like I said, I took it twice over 10 years ago and never got past a C, but my 101% shows it can be done with the right mind set, enough studying, and a temporary seclusion from the outside world. lol

Thanks for the link fun2care!

OK, disregard my earlier stated grades. lol

I just found out that my BIOL 2401 doesn't replace the BIO 120 I took way back then.

The school said that the BIO 120 was a freshman level, and the BIOL 2401 is a higher level, therefore are two separate classes.

So, I made an A in an upper level A&P, but a C in the freshman level. :uhoh3: WTFE! LOL

Thanks for the link fun2care!

Y'all are all welcome for the links. :) Good luck!!!

Thank you all for your support. I am praying that I can get through the next test with at least an 80 and a 85 or 90 on the final. I think my problem is when I study I just read. The main questions that I get wrong on her test are....All or the following are true EXCEPT or All of the follwing are FALSE EXCEPT. This really drives me nuts. So my big question is if i pass it with a D. should i just go on to part 2 and then retake part 1 in the summer. I understand everything we go over just can't get through her test.

I will keep you guys posted. Thanks again.

I really think you should retake it soon so it will be fresh on your mind.

If there isn't another instructor to take, is there another school that you can take it at?
