2019 -Trump National Philadelphia: Undocumented Workers Lose Their Jobs at Yet Another Trump Property
The Hill: Dozens of undocumented workers terminated from Trump properties: report
QuoteSeveral undocumented workers were dismissed last month from President Trump's golf club in Pine Hill, N.J., known as the Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia, according to The New York Times. It was the third property to fire workers over their immigration status since reports first arose in December of undocumented migrants working at the Trump club in Bedminster, N.J., for years.
It was only after this that these reports surfaced that theTrump Organization began using e-verify to confirm U.S. employment eligibility to work .
heron said:It goes along with a general lack of awareness of history. Trump has been a notorious dirtbag and a known racist since the 70's. Longer than that in NYC. How the American electorate lost its long-term memory would make an interesting study.
By now, that's an intentional unawareness.
Has anyone produced the contract by which El Salvador is holding folks for the US? There is a 1970's law Case-Zablocki Act requiring international agreements be shared with Congress. Interesting that El Salvador President Bukele meeting with Trump on Monday.... hopefully bringing Kilmar Abrego Garcia with him!

Folks? You mean criminals? Seem to forget that part allot.
Where should illegal criminals be detained? Where would be acceptable for you? Oh that's right. Even drug trafficking, child sex trafficking and violent crimes do not matter. Only if Trump deports them. Get teal.
Do you even think these people should be deported and detained? Where should they put them? 🤔
QuoteThe change reflects the expanding Trump administration censorship across the Department of Defense aimed at erasing acknowledgment of those groups. It also follows a series of executive orders issued by President Donald Trump and internal policy shifts championed by Hegseth, who has made the erasure of those groups a core goal of his tenure so far.
The administration has labeled materials related to women, minorities and gay people as "diversity, equity and inclusion," or DEI, a term that once described efforts toward racial equality but has been repurposed under Trump as a catchall term used to conduct a government-wide purge.
This is the censorship and restrictions on freedom of speech and thought that Trump supporters have projected onto liberals and democrats in the era of Trump.
QuoteMeanwhile, the services pulled out of an annual recruiting effort at a prestigious Black engineering conference.
In recent weeks, the U.S. Naval Academy removed some 400 books from its library, which include sociology books and texts written by Black female politicians.
The banned book titles include "The Second Coming of the KKK," a landmark book on how the Klan rose to political power in the early 20th century; and "Memorializing the Holocaust: Gender, Genocide and Collective Memory," which analyzes violence against women.
Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" is still available in the Naval Academy library.
The coincidences are something to behold, aren't they? At some point will the media start connecting dots for the public?
I haven't been here in a good while. I got sick of it. Same arguments, same defenses of the indefensible.
Coming back to say that IRL at least, my husband - 3-time Trump voter has finally had a change of heart - disappointment and shock at what is happening to our government with an unfettered Trump. He is finally appropriately disgusted. Hope that encourages someone.

Trump wants to send homegrown criminals to foreign prisons? Do you think he'll afford them some due process? Maybe he was just joking.
I don't think he was. What's appalling is El Salvador is not going to release the prisoner mistakenly sent to him and Trump made no demands or express any regret or outrage that a person that's not a prisoner with legal status is suffering like that.
What's interesting is that that El Salvador is selling prison space, all the while wanting to protect El Salvadorian immigrants here who are sending money home, a significant source of income for his country as well as talking about tariffs.

I guess it official. The Trump administration does what it wants even if the courts disagree? We are no longer a country of law and order if that's true.
