This is a very exciting time to be an American. I am happy to finally see some positive change for hardworking Americans. I am a little disappointed that the entitlement programs haven't really been addressed yet but in due time. I also hope the recent rise of alt left extremism is dealt with swiftly, I can't relate to groups of people who just resort to outright violence and intolerance towards others.

I don't think you quite understand what "fascism" is. As Reagan once famously said when "Fascism" comes to America it will come under the guise of liberalism. We have seen that with the so called "Democrat" party in the last decade or so where they want to control every aspect of your life. We are seeing that in the UK right now as people are arrested for making simple facebook posts. We are seeing that in countries like Ukraine, France, and Romania where they are barring opposing candidates from even running in elections. Trump is extremely moderate on the political spectrum, too left leaning for my tastes but better than the alternative. Remember that your words have effects. Part of the reason we have seen such as an uptick in violence and political extremism is throwing around words like fascist, nazi, etc. The trauma that Trump endured last year with 2 assassination attempts cannot be understated, he literally put his life on the line so you can speak your mind freely and not be imprisoned for "wrongthink", remember that.

Welcome. So you know.....
Violence, rioting, fascism, extreemism, racism, nazism and terrorism is only applicable to people on the right. Any of the above committed by the left no matter how egregious, can never be guilty of these things. Being on left exempt them from all.
That's how it work in these threads.

Hahaha
Nice try. Gas lighting is not going to work here. Russian propaganda about Ukraine seems sloppy for a pro like you.
You're wrong if you think that Trump won't imprison people for "wrongthink". You should remember Niemöller's poem.

QuoteLosses accelerated after the White House confirmed to CNBC on Thursday that the cumulative tariff rate on China would actually total 145%. This consists of the new 125% duty on goods, on top of the 20% rate levied in response to the fentanyl crisis.
Nonetheless, Trump said later in the afternoon that he is not ruling out an extension to the tariff pause.
"We'll have to see what happens at that time,” Trump said at a Cabinet meeting.
The wealthy folks who got the heads up that the tariff pause was going to occur made out like bandits. The market resumed it's Trump trend. I guess this is what some people want.

Reagan was an actor who read the lines he was given.
I think Mussolini would be more of an authority on Fascism, don't you? He said "The fascist state is the corporate state." Trump demonstrates this daily from putting the tech bros front and center at his inauguration, making Musk his shadow president, extracting obeisance from large law firms, and sucking up to big coal. What kind of government demonizes an entire ethnicity and then scoops them up and disappears them to gulags? Where on the political spectrum do you put a leader that takes away veterans' benefits but plans a large military parade to honor himself? That doesn't seem so moderate to me.

Addressing Risks from Chris Krebs and Government Censorship
Quote
Christopher Krebs, the former head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), is a significant bad-faith actor who weaponized and abused his Government authority. Krebs' misconduct involved the censorship of disfavored speech implicating the 2020 election and COVID-19 pandemic. CISA, under Krebs' leadership, suppressed conservative viewpoints under the guise of combatting supposed disinformation, and recruited and coerced major social media platforms to further its partisan mission. CISA covertly worked to blind the American public to the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's laptop. Krebs, through CISA, promoted the censorship of election information, including known risks associated with certain voting practices. Similarly, Krebs, through CISA, falsely and baselessly denied that the 2020 election was rigged and stolen, including by inappropriately and categorically dismissing widespread election malfeasance and serious vulnerabilities with voting machines. Krebs skewed the bona fide debate about COVID-19 by attempting to discredit widely shared views that ran contrary to CISA's favored perspective
....I further direct the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with any other agency head, to take all appropriate action to review Krebs' activities as a Government employee, including his leadership of CISA....

Miles Taylor was entrusted with the solemn responsibility of Federal service, but instead prioritized his own ambition, personal notoriety, and monetary gain over fidelity to his constitutional oath...
..In his former position, Taylor relied upon various colleagues to facilitate his unethical laundering and release of sensitive Government data to advance his false narratives. It is therefore against America's interests to allow those associated with Taylor to access our Nation's secrets. ....Accordingly, I direct the Attorney General, the Director of National Intelligence, and all other relevant executive department and agency (agency) heads to immediately take all action as necessary and consistent with existing law to suspend any active security clearances held by Miles Taylor, in addition to individuals at entities associated with Taylor, including the University of Pennsylvania, pending a review of whether such clearances are consistent with the national interest....

QuoteBloomberg reported that Wednesday was the "best day ever" for billionaires, as the world's wealthiest people raked in a heaping $304 billion as the markets shot back up.
The day's biggest individual winner should come as no surprise: Elon Musk made a whopping $36 billion as Tesla stock soared up 23 percent. Trump's surprising decision to temporarily back off his steep tariffs has sparked major concerns of obvious market manipulation, and even potential insider trading.
