This is really disturbing. Krebs merely said there is no proof that the election was rigged and that Trump won the election and that he and other Republicans lied to the American people. That Trump can't seem to accept his defeat and has yet to prove the election was rigged is really the sign of a madman. That he's using his presidential powers in this way is a madman in charge.
Taylor went on to write a book and profit off of slamming Trump. I can see Trump being bothered by him. Biden is going through this with Klain.
People designed our Democracy with separation of powers and I don't think Trump understands this or wants it. I hate to be all doom and gloom but if people aren't bothered by him, we're in trouble.

We're in trouble.

QuoteThe president's comments suggested a vague plan that would allow the government to bring back "great" people who are "working hard" and who "go out ... in a nice way."
So we wasted a bunch of money rounding them up, flying them out of the country, and paying for an El Salvadoran prison but now we're going to bring them back in a nice way? That must be evidence of Trump's stable genius and amazing planning.
QuotePresident Donald Trump suggested at a Cabinet meeting Thursday that undocumented people working on farms and in hotels would be allowed to leave the country and return as legal workers if their employers vouched for them.
Trump said at the meeting with reporters present that "we have to take care of our farmers, the hotels and, you know, the various places where they tend to, where they tend to need people.”
I wonder if Trump's hotels were having staffing problems. Regardless, this is stupid. It's almost like Trump didn't know that these immigrants work out what kind of work they do. Maybe he believed the right wing propaganda that has Trump voters believing that illegal immigrants are living on tax dollars in hotels.
Quote"So a farmer will come in with a letter concerning certain people, saying they're great, they're working hard. We're going to slow it down a little bit for them, and then we're going to ultimately bring them back. They'll go out. They're going to come back as legal workers."
QuoteAbout 40% of U.S. crop farmworkers are undocumented, according to the Agriculture Department. About 1.1 million undocumented people worked in the hospitality industry — hotels and restaurants — about 7.6% of the workforce, in 2023, according to an analysis by the American Immigration Council, a legal group that advocates for immigration.
It's interesting that the people who employed the undocumented workers get Trump's help getting the workers back. No accountability for them for breaking the law.
QuoteImmigration officers also have been arresting people at homes, schools and universities when they arrive for immigration check-ins or if they are stopped for traffic violations. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with Texas officials, made several arrests in a Texas community where many homeowners are Latino in February, stopping some people as they headed to work. ICE said at the time that several of them had criminal backgrounds.
We know that Team Trump is sloppy and makes sloppy mistakes. We also know that cruelty is a feature of Trump policy. It's a great combination when it involves prison camps. Nevertheless, it appears that Trump has begun to consider that simply deporting the brown people is not really a good economic policy. It appears that Trump doesn't give much forethought to the nuances of these complicated issues. He has concepts of plans.

Nice try. Gas lighting is not going to work here. Russian propaganda about Ukraine seems sloppy for a pro like you.
You're wrong if you think that Trump won't imprison people for "wrongthink". You should remember Niemöller's poem.
Zelensky came to the US and tried to bully our great President and VP....didn't work obviously. The man has shut down non state run forms of media and made it illegal for opposing political parties to even run against him. Hardly "Russian Propaganda".
Trump has no history of oppressing others in this current term or his last term. Grow up

It's been well documented that Mara-Largo hires a lot of foreign workers. I was reading that during his first presidency he hired one American born. But also we must remember that his voters at his rallies would hold up signs "mass deportation now!" This is what we asked for. Like he's doing with the tariffs, he's moving forward, seeing the consequences and going "uh oh". Unemployment was low and Americans aren't lining up to take these jobs. We don't want to work like that and we're at near full employment.
What really is scary is that Trump was floating around the idea of deporting American citizens. It's always been my understanding that American criminals are tried in American courts and when guilty are sentenced to jails in America.
On a side note, the press secretary is really good. She can tell a Trump lie straight faced, she can one day say "Trump is not backing down on tariffs" and the next day "If you aren't understanding why Trump is holding off on tariffs then you haven't read "The Art of the Deal". She can be real witchy "France better thank because they might be speaking German right now", "As a matter of policy, we do not respond to reporters with pronouns in their bios"

It's amazing how people support an all out foreign invasion of illegals. This is not safe nor is it sustainable. We already have a massive parasite class leeching off the top 10% income earners through their entitlement programs. Medicaid is going to eventually bankrupt the nation, keep it for those under 18 as they cannot choose their parents however 18+ needs to go.
Where is the moral compass of Americans? I remember my father routinely taking me to home depot as a child and we would always do our best to buy American even if it meant the product was double the cost of a foreign made one. Stop exploiting cheap labor, stop allowing an invasion of criminals just because your smoothies might go up in price. Pure selfishness

All of Trump's press secretaries and communications people must be good at lying to the public. Scaramucci, famously, could only handle it for 10 days.

The press secretary is terrible. She's not even a POC or gay. So lacking in requirements.
Yes. This proves it! Trump is a racist xenophobic dictator because he hired more foriegn workers and only hired 1 American born worker at his estate.

Was that before or after he won the election?
