The letter......Spring 07

Yeah! Congrats to all who have received their letters for spring 2007. I applied to two programs, an accelerated BSN and an ADN at the local cc. I received my acceptance letter yesterday for the ADN program and was so excited!! The A-BSN program is still my first choice, but I am thrilled to know that I have a seat in the ADN program if I want it. :yelclap:

Really, I have not givin it much thought. I was going to look it over when we have a break . Are you a member? What do you know about this?

I am reluctant to become a member....it will appear on your transcripts.

As far as I know you will have assistance with scholarships etc through them.

I have this image of snooty toot, obnoxious, ditzy individuals in my mind which I don't need to belong to...having to be around snooty officer's wives in the US Army is more than I can handle.

I may just be too ignorant to understand what it's all about....sounds like way too many politics to me.

The letters are slowly rolling in...Congrats to all those who got theirs!!

Did you get your letter today? What field of nursing are you pursuing?

I still didn't get mine....no worries though. I don't really have a set field in mind yet. There are so many I am interested in, I'm hoping to find my nitch when I get into clinicals. I do like things that are fast paced and really hands on..I work well in high stress situations....but it sounds like most fields in nursing fall into that category. I love that Pfizer guide to nursing careers but the more I flip through it the more jobs I see that I like...

For now, I just want to get into school!!

Well I got my letter today, and I am an alternate. I'm not as depressed as I thought I would be probably cuz I went for a 3 mile run immediately after haha. Anyway, that's better than denial, and I hope someone drops!

I'm still waiting on my letter. Most of the people who applied to the same program got their letters on Friday. I'm so antsy!

I applied to the Spring '07 semester at my school (deadline was June something for apps) and I received my acceptance letter in july. Lemme tell you, I was stressing out upon whether I'd got in or not. Even so, tt's strange how some receive their letters two months before the semester starts.

I have to now get all these clearances done, exams, get my uniform ordered, and get my BLS certification before Jan. 3. SO MUCH stuff. haha

Oh my!!!!!!! I'm still waiting too!!!! I just red all your posts and actually felt some relief. Not because we are in the same terrible, long and nasty waiting but because i'm not the only one checking the mail box like crazy jajajaja, when I go to sleep i can't wait to be afternoon the next day to check the mail again!!!! Good luck to every one and a big CONGRATS!!!!! to the ones allready in.

Well, I talked to the nursing office and letters went into the outbox yesterday--she was not sure if they were picked up yesterday or would be picked up today. So....just a few more days and I'll know something!!!!!
