Future- congratulations.......I'm so excited for you.

MMW37.....the accelerated program at USF, you need ordinarily a GPA of 3.3-3.6 to get in to the accelerated program. They go by your cumulative GPA not just your pre-reqs. As far as learning about these programs, online here at all nurses helped but mostly from calling hospitals and asking the questions, plus most of them do have information on their websites. I just can't believe I'm going back for a second interview. I researched this program 5 years ago when I moved here......and thought "that is what I want". And now it is all happening for me.

I'm waiting, too. I applied to a Bachelor's program for Jan 2007. However, they do not take many transfer students in the January semester so my chances of getting in aren't very high. If I don't get in, I'll take a couple more classes and try again for September. But I'd really really like to get in for January.

Yes, anyday now!! I applied to two different BSN programs. I don't care what program I get into as long as I get into one and get a good education!! How about you? Congrats again on getting your letter, you must be on cloud nine!!

I called the college to make sure they have everything, and had been haunting the mailbox since the 1st of October, since they told me they'd send out the letters in October. Called back, and they haven't even STARTED sorting out the keepers! It's going to be early November....:selfbonk:

I sure hope so. My mail will be here in an hour. I've never been such and impatient person. I am usually really laid back and take things as they come, but this is making me a nut. It's like waiting for Christmas when your little (hopefully it won't be like the time when you didn't get the one thing you really, really wanted)!

My school is pretty good about sending out letters quick. I should get my letter next tue or wed! I am driving my girlfriend crazy because i am so nervous and anxious.

Jilaweez, I applied to one school for an ADN program. They go by a point system but it's easier to get the adn and continue with the bsn after graduation. There are lots of students being sent in that direction. I am so excited! Did you get your letter today? What field of nursing are you pursuing?
