Who is waiting on the letter?
Where did you apply?
What type of program?
I'm hoping to hear from all of you that are as stressed out and hyped up as I am. :monkeydance:

I am currently waiting impatiently for mine. I will be attending an ADN progam at a CC in Texas. "It" should be here in 3-4 weeks. I am stressed out only because I am not a patient person when it comes to my future. I feel confident that I will get in, though, as we go by a point system and I have done well in my pre-reqs and on my NET (also compared to some of the scores and GPA of fellow applicants). But, I don't want to be overconfident--so we will see toward the end of October!

Our due date for the app was Sept 15....they didn't say anything about when we might find out. How long is it from the due date usually?? I'm SO excited and hope hope hope I get in!!! Hi, my application was due 9/15...and I knew from the previous time period almost to the week when I would get the letter...and I was right, because now they need time to weed out those who do not accept a spot, those who do not show up for orientation, those who do not pass their background checks....etc...and hopefully with all the local hospitals that will sponsor students, that takes more out of the pool to compete against, so if your app. was due 9/15, I'd say any day now. I can't wait to attend orientation...I was told that if you're on the alternate list for this school, you're pretty much in. I hope so.

The app deadline for my school was 9/15 too and they said you should hear back around 10/15 but I heard back about a week after 9/15. Then again, I did apply at midnight the second applications were made available
I can't wait for orientation in November! They said that's when we get our uniforms and other goodies. Yay.

ME too! Me Too! We had three application meetings, I went to the very first one back in August. We shoud find out if we got accepted in November for the January 2007 start.
I am optimistically nervous. I have a good feeling, but I am afraid to actualy say it out loud. Last semester(fall admit), the lowest they took was a 3.36, I applied for the spring with a 3.67. Do yall think I have a chance?
By the way, what is the Dean's list? I received a letter saying I quility to join the list. I haven't had time to really think about it or investigate.
The Dean's list is when you make a certain GPA. One semester I took all art/english/history classes and got like a 3.9, so I made the Dean's list!

If it's the National Deans List, I would definetly do it. I was in it 2 yrs my first time around in undergrad when I got my Bachelor's. I didn't buy the book, because I was broke. The school's deans list I didn't get a letter to be in it, they just did it. They all ended up on my transcript, along with the honors societies I was in. So if schools are sifting through hundreds of transcripts and apps, it may help out a bit.
