    I would start with English, History, Government and such....wait to take the hardcore science classes until you are used to the pace of college. Good luck!

    I'm not a nursing major; I am majoring in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology. I'm entering my second quarter of the 16 month program (I will be granted a B.S. next December - the prereqs were very similar to nursing, in fact I started out intending to go into nursing but then veered down this path instead).

    Next quarter I am taking:
    Clinical Microbiology II (2 credit hours)
    Urinalysis - lecture and lab (2 credit hours
    Clinical Chemistry lecture (6 credit hours)
    Clinical Chemistry lab (6 credit hours)
    Immunology/Infectious Serology lab (2 credit hours)

    Yes, it's a lot but I can do it!

    {FYI, last quarter I took:
    Clinical Microbiology I (2 credit hours)
    Clinical Immunology lecture (3 credit hours)
    Biometry (Statistics) (2 credit hours)
    Hematology lab (6 credit hours)
    Transfusion Medicine/Blood Banking lab (4 credit hours)
    Instrumentation (1 credit hour)
    ...........And I got all A's except a B in Transfusion Medicine. }
    You have a similar story to mine, although I'm still taking my pre-reqs. I started out as a nursing major and decided to switch to a double degree in Microbiology / Laboratory Medicine! Congratulations on almost being finished!

    Anyway, I'm still working on the pre-req's for the Micro/Lab Med degree. I start Inorganic Chemistry I, Biology II, and Math (calc) this quarter. It comes out to 16.5 credits! I'm a little nervous about it!
