Thanks for starting the thread and all the great links. I start A&P I in January. Good luck to all!

Great, feel free to PM me any time!

I just finished up (as of today) Statistics, Nutrition, and Human Growth and Development. Took my final for Statistics today, got and A....soooo happy!! I'm am going to enjoy this break now until January. But I will start reading up on Anatomy to get a jump start.

Good Luck!

I think that I have about decided to not take ethics this semester after all. I am already taking A&P, College comp, and yoga. Plus I work too. I think that I should wait and take ethics later on.

Specializes in heading for NICU.

That does sound like a load on ya. I pretty much have to take Ethics since that is the last non-science class I have to take, and since the rest of the science classes have to be taken in order I can't take anything else with A&P. Then that just leaves me with Microbiology and A&PII to take and I'll be done with prereqs. Yay! I'm hoping to apply to the ADN program Fall 2006. I've also already done some of the BSN prereqs so I guess if I don't get into the program on the first shot, I'll just pick up some more BSN prereqs.

"Never Lower Tilly's Pants, Momma Might Come Home!"

Thats the one we learned (10 years ago) in Xray school for the wrist bones (carpals)--I think it is used everywhere and very old. They M's are the greater and lesser Multongular bones, used instead of Trapezoid and Trapezium. :)

I am a beginner obviously, I guess this was the right thread...

I am really nervous about A&P, so I am hoping this will make things come together better for me. I am so glad I found this site, and this forum. I love the way nurses all stick together and encourage and help each other. I know I will learn alot from all of you who are farther along than I am. Just starting out is really scary, but I want this so bad.

Well I just registered for A & P I today!! I haven't taken a college course in 2 years, I have a BA in Psychology. Never took a college level lab-science. I am pretty nervous! Its my only class for next semester but hopefully I will have a full-time job by then so it will be a crazy 3 months!

Its also the first pre-requisite class I am taking since deciding to go to nursing school 6 weeks ago!:nurse:

Well, you arent alone. I am just beginning myself, and I too am very nervous. I am just taking one other class and that is Psychology. I think much more than one other class, and I could forget an A for sure.

I am just soooo thankful I dont have to take Algebra. Unless I decide to go for my BSN. I guess anything is possible, but I think RN will be just fine. LOL.

Best of luck to you.

good luck everybody. i just took my final yesterday. i should be getting an a. don't be nervous. it's not difficult. there's just a lot to know so it's just a matter of putting in the time.

SMART choice. It's not easy to return to school after a long break.

The class will keep you plenty busy. Good luck:)
