Butterfly - Yes that is encouraging. I have been working on pre-reqs and am ready to apply. Thanks for the encouraging words about Wake Tech.

Well I wish I got an A on the first test. We are using the Marieb book and our test on Tuesday was on Chapters 1-4. I did OK but not as good as I had hoped. I am studying away for the next test which is on the Skin. I am excited about taking a test on just one chapter.

Thanks Dante50, Wake Tech is fine. I think I've worked it out to take A & P I at Wake Tech and then do the Dev. Psyc online. I've been out of the forum too. Sick kid first, and today is the happy day my youngest turns 3. My it goes by quick.

Dantel50, Where are did you take your A & P class? I'm in NC too. I'm in Raleigh, taking classes at Wake Tech.

Kaseyrn2b, Where are you taking your online class? I think I want to avoid your professor. I am thinking of taking Developmental Psyc online at Edukan. I want to take Dev Psyc online and take A & P I at the Community College locally. I am still trying to decide because I have a lot on my plate. Has anyone taken Dev Psyc from Edukan? How did taking the Hobet go? Didn't you take it this summer? Hope everything else is going well.

ladybugsea, Where are you taking Dev. Psyc online? Thanks for the info regarding how you divide up your study time. I am still deciding about whether or not I will try doing both. I really want to get an A in A&P. Well, I guess I really want an A in both. But if I can cut cross 2 pre reqs off the list, that will be huge incentive to survive a semester of studying, late nights, and a messy house.

How much time do you devote to A & P I outside of class?

I am a single mom of two (husband is working out of state this year). I am thinking of taking A&P I and Developmental Psyc in the spring. I have been working on pre reqs one at a time and have an A in Nutrition, A in Gen Psyc. All the non science stuff I have from before. I feel like I have gotten the hang of working, kids and studying but is A & P I so much of a study load that I should just take it on it's own? Any thoughts or advice appreciated. Thanks.

Congratulations! I am not going to Curry. I am just starting to look at pre reqs but had to say congrats to you. You gave me very encouraging words when I first posted on allnurses. I wish you the best of luck.
