Thanks for all the support, right now I am going over some parts of the spinal cord until I feel comfortable with it. I will study for another hour and then off to bed. Thanks again

You can do it!!! If you study hard, you will make the A. I know if I can do it, anyone can do it. Good Luck!!!

I hope those who responded to my plea for help will check back and read this note of sincere gratitude. I took my A&P I exam over bones and muscles last week. 700 questions and lasting over three days. I was so worried, I almost "froze up" with fear. Well, grades were posted yesterday AND....AND......AND............. I made a B! I am SOOOO Happy Dancing. Thank you all for responding, offering encouragement and providing additional study references in the form of website addresses. Now - on to the Nervous system. Thank you again - hope to see you on the other side of the exam table someday.

Thanks Fun2Care;)

I just got my grade back and I received an 82. This is my lowest grade so far. I don't feel to bad about it because I knew I wasn't ready. We're allowed to drop my grade, but must take the final exam if we do. Without dropping I still have a 'B' so it will depend on how I do on the next lab and lecture exam whether I'll drop this grade or not. If I'm close to an 'A', I'll take the final, if not, I'll take a 'B' and not worry about the final.

Now for the good news. :smiley_aa :smiley_aa :yeah:

I've been ACCEPTED into the LPN program and will start either in August or September. If I waited to get into the RN program where I'm attending, it would be late 2007, or 2008, before I would be accepted. This way, after I finish the LPN program, I have to work six months, then I can bridge to the RN program.

Of course, I'm very nervous. I have to travel to another city, gas prices are sky rocketing, and I need another car since mine is a gas guzzler. Am not working so I can't afford a car payment. Obstacles, Obstacles, Obstacles. I

Is anyone else getting tired? I always seem to get this burned out feeling towards the end of a semester. I have one month left. I'm hanging on as tight as I can.

Absolutely burned out. That's why I didn't do as well as I usually do in my exam yesterday. I couldn't sleep the night before. Went to bed around 12am and work up at 3:00 am. I usually can't sleep the night before but I haven't been sleeping all week. Thank goodness I'm on spring break next week even though I'll have to study for my lab exam.

I can't figure out how to start one from here. But thanks for the accolades.

Specializes in OR Internship starting in Jan!!.

I'm also taking A&P I right now. Lemme tell you, after studying so hard for my lab midterm, it was really hard to get motivated to study for my first lecture test after Spring Break!

At my school, your lab grade counts as 30% of your overall A&P I grade and there are only two tests - the midterm and the final! I was so worried about my midterm and I studied really hard. I found out that there were only two As on the test, and I got one of them! /happy dance!

Now we have to memorize all the muscles in lab, and we are covering how muscles work in lecture. All these different chemical changes are crazy!

Right now I have a low A overall, and I'm really hoping I can keep it up so I can be competitive for my program. We have two lecture tests, lecture final and lab final to go.

Good luck everyone!

Look at the top of each page and you will see anouncements. There is a video to watch to explain how to do most anything you might want to do. It is very helpful.
