I really am not sure of the ones outside my own area. I havent lived here a very long time. I am in a very small town about 1.5 hours N of Dallas and moved from Tennessee several years ago. I know there are seveal nursing students in and around the Dallas/Ft. Worth part, and several from around San Antonio.

Yay TexasAngel! My test 4 is coming up next week and I'm getting really nervous!As for online classes, I know TCC offers A&P I online, but I don't think they offer any of the others.
Oh, boy, I have heard Test 4 kicks butt.:uhoh21: I bet you can do it though, and I assure you, I will give it all I have too. Lecture one of the last section is tomorrow. That is when the real fun begins. I will memorize that part over the weekend and then the same for each lecture after that.
Good luck on that test, and let me know how hard it is so I will know what I will be faced with.
The mnemonic we were told is a little dirtier but it sticks in your mind: oh oh oh, to touch and feel valley girl's lady parts, so hot! (where the last S is for Spinal Accessory, some use an A instead).
Check out this site: http://www.gwc.maricopa.edu/class/bio201/ and click on the nervous system. The 2 interactive quizzes are very good, it's just repetition.
Also, if you have to memorize the functions, another mnemonic is:
Some say marry money but my brother says beware, better marry a millionaire
where
S=sensory
M=motor
B=both (or mixed, sensory and motor)
Good luck, that helps you a little. My quiz on this is tomorrow...last one!!
Thankyou for all the website info. I wondered those who have already
been thru or are going thru A&P is it really super hard?
My concern for this particular class its at a Private School in an excellerated curriculum. It is 4-5 weeks long three days a week
9-12.
When I registered the receptionst gave me my book (class starts 4/29)
and told me to start reading. It is intense and we will learn a system a week.
I took the excellerated bna program and did well. But do any of you think
this is gonna be super difficult?
Thanks for any input.
