:uhoh3: Hello all, this is a long vent. I attend school at TCC in Virginia. I only have A&P II, And Intro to microbology left as pre-reqs. I don't know why but I can seem to pass A&P I this is my second time taking this course and from the way its looking it may be my third. I can't afford to take any classes during the summer school. I was wondering if anyone knew someone who has taken A&P I more than twice. I mean is this really normal. I have to finish the last two pre-reqs before i can apply for the nursing program. I work a full-time schedule at the hospitial and they won't allow me to cut hours. Do you think its easier to take the course online and go to the lab at school. Do you think A&P II is easier online. Can someone please help me. My final for A&P I is tomorrow. I am so nervous. I feel discouraged.

All I can say is, if I were working full time, there is no way, and I mean NO way I could make an A in any of these pre-requisites, or maybe just the Psychology. I know of three people who work part time at a hospital, and they are taking this class for the second time and bordering the A/B line. I wish I did know what to say, but all I can say is dont feel bad. Hang in there and keep kicking back, even if it is laying down and screaming. I do have an A, and I told a friend A&P is kicking my butt, but I am kicking back. She said, kick and dont stop, even if it is laying down and screaming while you are kicking, but dont lay down and quit. :lol2: I wish you all the best. I still have the final, and I am studying hard for it.

Yes there are a few in my class that are there for the 2nd time and will be there a 3rd. It is a hard class hands down. The bad thing is we use the same book for A&P 1 and A&P 2 and if you don't pass A&P 1 this semester they are changing the book for next semester. These books are $250.00!

Hang in there and I'm sure you won't be the first person or the last person to take this class more than twice. Good Luck!

A&P books are crazy expensive! That is why I'm taking A&P II this summer -- because they are changing the book in the fall and I don't want to have to buy it again!

I usually purchased all my books on eBay or Amazon. I paid $8 for my lifespan book, while everyone else paid $140. My Anatomy book was borrowed from a friend. I had the later edition, same information. The later edition did not affect my grades. I got an A- for anatomy 1 and probably an A for anatomy 2.

Yeah, I am an edition behind in my books but they are switching to a new author, not just a new edition.

I got a "B" on my muscle test in lab :balloons: I am so happy!!!!!

WOW. I just found out that I made a 97 on my lab final and can make a 60 on the lecture final and still make an A in the class. This is such a weight off my shoulders because the programs in my area are so competitve that if I don't make an A, I would have to retake A&P. I still have the final to go, and I can't slack off. But, I've been SO stressed that I just feel so much better knowing.

Whew!

HELP!! lol

A question that im not quite getting ..lol.. i understand cellular transport and the 5 mechanisms..

however help

Cellular transport influence nearly all the the processes in the body. WHat situation in the body might occur to influence each of the 5 transport mechanisms. How might the body respond to each situation.?

Does this mean to say something that might affect each .. seperately

or something affecting all 5 at once..?

this was my first semester in college and i had a great ap teacher! i just took my final yesterday and i know i got an A in the class because i had a 99.6 before i even took the final. i dont know how many people use or have heard of it, but www.ratemyprofessors.com is a great way to pick your professor! a good professor can make all the difference in how good you do in class!!!

good luck everyone

I'm finished with A&P 1 and I got an A *whew* Now it's on to A&P 2 next week. Luckily we are using the same book and lab manual.

Congrats on your A! I have my lecture final tomorrow. I'm taking A&P II during Summer II. Honestly, I'm a little nervous about how fast it will go. Good to see that other people are taking it, too :D Good luck!
