Hey Y'all! I am applying for the Fall 2018 start at UT Arlington! I wanted to see who else was applying so we could help each other out/ know someone when the program starts! I would love to get to know y'all!

Hey there! I am glad to see a thread for Fall 2018. I am applying as well and will take the Hesi within the next two weeks. Have you submitted your application yet?

I just did last week! I didn't think the HESI was too bad! Have you taken the TEAS yet? Their application says to upload the HESI but the admissions counselors said to upload the TEAS.

Since I applied before the Fall I don't have to take the TEAS, thank God! I heard it's harder than the Hesi.

I ended up having to take both for various schools I applied to, the HESI was definitely easier and I feel like it had a better though process to it, it that makes any sense at all! Why does applying before the fall mean you don't have to take the TEAS? That is really super and I know you'll do great on it! I hope that means they weigh my HESI more than my TEAS!!

This is the response I received from CON, "Because you were admitted prior to fall 2017, you may take either the HESI A2 or the TEAS Exam". I'm glad that I have the option of taking either. I want to apply to other schools as well, but the AP section scares me. I took it before in 2014 and I didn't pass. I hadn't studied either since I was applying to Chamberlain and they just wanted to "see where I was and what I needed to work on". I'm in a pass/fail situation most universities only allow you to take the test twice.

AP was my lowest section on the test, I took it before finishing AP1, so I definitely did not know most of the answers but if you've taken either AP class since, you should do great! Im so happy you get the option!!

Hi everyone,

I am applying to both the online and on-campus BSN programs and am currently filling out the supplemental application. It asks for information regarding "General and Biological Chemistry" in one of the boxes. However, all the other boxes just require information for one class. Should I put the information for gen chem ONLY, or is it also asking for Biology I info? When I read Biological Chemistry, I think Biochem, but that is not one of the prereqs. Thanks in advance!

I've applied to UTA online and on campus, Concordia since its in Austin, ACC's ADN program and deciding if I want to apply to ! What about you?

If I remember correctly only your chemistry info goes in that one. I had to ask about it too!
