Hi ! Starting a thread for the UTA Fall 2020 PMHNP program. I just received my acceptance letter.

Hey! I'm desperately waiting to get an acceptance letter!! Did you get an email or a physical letter??

Thanks!!

It was an email. I applied in March, when did you apply?

April 12 to be exact! LOL. Were you a UTA student already? Like for BSN?

No I wasn’t, but I think they process the applications in the order they came in. You should be receiving something very soon. Orientation is set for July 22nd.

Good to know, thanks! I've been anxiously waiting daily wondering if I need to apply to other colleges as well. Have you heard any good feedback about this PMHNP program?

Just what I’ve read online - which is a mixed bag. Hopefully you will receive your acceptance letter soon.

I got in! Super excited! See you at orientation ?

Hello,

Congratulations! I am applying for FNP program. I think we might have the same courses until we choose the specialty second year?Or is Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner is a different option? Can we switch in between?

Hi ! I’m not sure that we can switch between programs but I think we do some basics together. Good luck with the FNP program!

I don't think we can switch as well. Thank you so much:)

I will be starting in the Fall as well. Looking forward to meeting everyone in orientation for the PMHNP program. I currently work with a PMHNP that graduated from this program. I also work at a Psychiatric facility for four years and have worked around Psychiatric for a very long time. It’s going to be an amazing journey!
