Hi ! Starting a thread for the UTA Fall 2020 PMHNP program. I just received my acceptance letter.

CONGRATS - can’t wait to get started! Has anyone received any other inquiries? All I’ve received to date was the acceptance email. The email said it would take up to 15 business days to get access to our email, but I still can not access it.

Well I was a BSN student from UTA so I already had my email set up but I have also not received any additional information from the uta email regarding the program as well. I think the only thing I have to do left is get the ID card.

I applied to this program really early (Oct 2019). I got my BSN from UTA, but I still haven't received an acceptance letter.. I accepted a financial aid, but my application is still pending. Should I call someone?

Yeah you should call. Did you apply for fall 2020? They should at least let you know something

Yeah I call them and they really didn’t know much, but I scheduled a virtual advising session with an advisor so hopefully they can help me. Thanks for your suggestion!

Yes you can I know several people taking 1 class a semester. I think if you do that it takes 4 years to complete the program

Quick update :: I just called and spoke to the advising team to check the status. They said that we should be receiving the formal acceptance email within 15 business days & this will include instructions for us to sign in to MyMav to formally accept. I’ll let y’all know when I get something.

Orientation is less than a month away ?

I got mine a couple days after I accepted fall admission back in May. Maybe bc I was already a UTA student ??

Have they sent anything else? I’m really hoping they’re going to switch orientation to online.

No just a Texas resident status email. That's all. I'm kinda twiddling my thumbs waiting to hear more or updates as well. I hate waiting LOL
