   It is just for internship, but that is still up to 6 months depending on specialty. I make more than that as a tech at a different hospital, so that's almost insulting that after years of hard work getting through nursing school they want to pay less...

   That's not always the case. I'm moving to DFW after getting my ADN in the Central Texas area and have had two job offers from different hospitals already.
