    That may or may not be true. Another scenario to entertain is less RN jobs as hospitals try to save money by having only 1 RN on the floor as a charge and the rest of care by LPN's/Techs/CNA's to save money................... you have ratios now, but I would not count on the new healthcare plan to keep them or open up new opportunities.

    And this scenario is likely just in California. Most, if not all employers, other than the ones in CA want RN's, not LPN's.
