Yes, you read my title correctly. It made me laugh...and shake my head. Worth the watch just to see the mayhem for yourself!

Just reminds me that one of their votes is equal to one of mine (well, sorta, not gettin' into the electoral college, lol).I particularly liked Kimmel's quippy question "do you believe an informed citizenry is essential to (paraphrased) an effective government?" And the dimwit who was standing in front of him effusing ignorance immediately answered "yes".Sigh.

Forget electoral college; they couldn't get into community college. (Simmer down CC grads, I'm just kidding.)

funny, sad, and sometimes even true...
It will NEVER be a dull citizenry, as long as the low information public is present; most of the time, they keep US in business.

I know everyone is getting a good laugh but I'll be the downer here...sorry ahead of time...could these people be ignorant because they really DON'T understand? Shouldn't those of us who DO understand make it a point to educate our fellow Americans? I actually had to watch the "for dummy series" to understand obamacare for class. Even I didn't get it at first. Most of my patients do not understand it either as there haven't been much in the way of explanations for the lay man and how it will effect everyone. I do sort of find people ridiculous who go on camera anyway, but I also feel bad that so many people are uneducated in our Country!

I have to wonder how many people looked at Kimmel and said "are you for real? Is this a joke?" Of course those people aren't gonna make funny tv, so....cut.
I was thinking the same thing. Im sure (hope) most people know that it is the same thing . Hopefully most of the people that they interviewed knew the question didn't make sense. These people can just be a small percentage, they didnt show the people that knew more about the subject

But there's nothing to "understand" considering the question posed. It's just a piece of information that they don't even know: that Obamacare and the ACA are the same thing. That's what's scary. It's not ignorance; it's stupidity.
point taken lol =)

Thanks, VERY FUNNY I remember seeing this on TV and it is amazing how people just did not know that the two are one and the same. I think the politicians need to stop calling this Obamacare it is THE AFFORABLE CARE ACT!!!!!

This is why I decided to have a child, even though we are totally over populated. I decided that all the stupid people were breeders and producing more stupid people. My son, who is 13, knows more about the Affordable Care Act than these voters. Shudder!

Ignorance = lack of knowledge or awareness. Stupidity = lack of intelligence, perception or common sense. It isn't necessarily a bad thing to be ignorant since that can be corrected through education, but there is no hope for the amount of stupidity people exhibit by choosing not to be perceptive.
