Cuddle with my Hubby and hang out with my animals, my garden, put on my favorite CD and sing praises to God for fighting my battles.

Hanging with my animals and my hubby. Animals are so great because they have no baggage, and always give unconditionally!

I have a long drive home- that kinda helps, especially if I have good loud music on.
Then when I get home, look at youtube, and medicate myself with benadryl and my neurontin so I can get to sleep, and sleep it off..

oh, and go through the want ads and dream/pray something better comes along :-/

Check my calendar to see if I have to return the next day and call out. Then, I basically make sure I spend the next day venting on Allnurses. Take myself out to a steak dinner and a movie. Then, I spend the entire day relaxing. I might even turn off my phone to avoid those annoying phone calls about coming the next day.

hang out on fb, listen to some nice songs, make green tea and grab a snack, actually relaxing with no whiny co-workers or needy residents, no call bells and no phone calls for a little while makes me feel all better lol

I tend to make 'helpful suggestions' to the other drives on the interstate on my way home. It helps!

PLAN AHEAD!!!!! I prepare beforehand by making sure there are at least 3 days in between shifts! That way, I always get the last laugh!!
