I am 52 and taking the nclex on july 7th. after the holiday i think i like your idea better but did not have the option. good luck to you.....i am def getting the butterflies. Our school had us do the ATI and rec'd a 99% chance of passing but that is little consolation to me.......so at this time my prayers are with all of us in July.....may we all celebrate the thoughts of having accomplished conquering the mountain of nursing school and survived that momentous feat and like that we shall also accomplish this goal .......good luck to all.......like you i am stressing and doing my best in eating right and exercising an hour a day.....and studying and studying and studying...:y eah:

I can relate to this. I feel the same as well. I just want to get this exam over with.

And for those preparing using Kaplan, I'm getting similar scores. I try not to concern myself too much with the scores but ensure I understand the rationales.

Understanding the rationales has been priceless. I sit there with my Saunders/Kaplan books looking up anything I wasn't clear on in the rationales, even if I got the question right. I'm now an expert at compartment syndrome, autonomic dysreflexia and traction

I think I'm also calm about it because after the last two years plus the reviewing since graduation, if I don't know the material by now, I'm not going to master it by Friday. So why get myself worked up? I'm going to try to get infection control under control (as in, what disease needs which precautions), keep doing some more questions and rationales tomorrow, and call an end to the reviewing on Thursday morning so I can relax. I think that will do me more good than trying to cram a million details in all they way up to the last minute.

I am taking mine July 14th for the 4th time (and hopefully the LAST TIME!). I've been studying hard now for about 2 months and I want more than anything to pass this time! Good luck to fellow July test takers!

I take mine mid July and I am totally freaking out. Nice to know I am not the only one. I developed a fever yesterday but with a pounding headache and my hands holding my head, I am still practicing questions.....wow!
