I didn't see a July 09 support group thread up, so I thought I'd get it started.
I'm taking the NCLEX-RN July 3rd for the first (and hopefully only) time. I figured I'd get it done before the holiday weekend so I could at least enjoy some of the time off instead of spending the holiday chained to textbooks...as I've done for the last two years.
Good luck to all of us in July!
to all july test takers: i know we can all make it!!! just always remember that we truly deserve to be NCLEX passers. we should prove to everyone that we truly deserve the title. if we can all join in prayers, we can move mountains and we can definitely defeat the NCLEX monster!!! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND PRAY HARD!!! ONLY GOD KNOWS THE TRUE DESIRES OF OUR HEARTS!!!:redbeathe:heartbeat

Understanding the rationales has been priceless. I sit there with my Saunders/Kaplan books looking up anything I wasn't clear on in the rationales, even if I got the question right. I'm now an expert at compartment syndrome, autonomic dysreflexia and traction
I think I'm also calm about it because after the last two years plus the reviewing since graduation, if I don't know the material by now, I'm not going to master it by Friday. So why get myself worked up? I'm going to try to get infection control under control (as in, what disease needs which precautions), keep doing some more questions and rationales tomorrow, and call an end to the reviewing on Thursday morning so I can relax. I think that will do me more good than trying to cram a million details in all they way up to the last minute.
