I didn't see a July 09 support group thread up, so I thought I'd get it started.
I'm taking the NCLEX-RN July 3rd for the first (and hopefully only) time. I figured I'd get it done before the holiday weekend so I could at least enjoy some of the time off instead of spending the holiday chained to textbooks...as I've done for the last two years.
Good luck to all of us in July!
I took mine yesterday, July 1st, and I'm very scared. It kept asking me the same medications over and over again, which I assume means I didn't answer it correctly the first time around. I stopped at 75, had a few priorities, a few SATA, one math that was DIFFICULT (I'm good at math), one put in order, and a lot of meds. I prepared a lot and felt content with what I studied, but it asked me so many questions and medications that I had no clue about. Glad there's a support group here! I'm just going to try to keep positive and keep praying.
Just a tip, make sure you have everything you need with you. I received a letter that said I was authorized to test, but that wasn't my ATT. Luckily, the lady at Pearson gave me a map to the nearest Kinko's, and the number for the call center so I could ask them to email me my ATT. My stress level was very high, but she told me to relax, take my time, and assured me that I will still be allowed to take my test even if I come back a little late.
Meriwhen, best wishes on the exam tomorrow!
Thank you! I'm leaving for it in a few minutes--there were traffic issues in the area yesterday that may not have been resolved, so I'm leaving an extra half-hour earlier than planned. Especially since those traffic issues made a classmate miss the test entirely--she's trying to fight it, but it's looking like she'll have to repay the $200 for a new test.
Good luck to anyone else going up today!
Finished a couple of hours ago: worst experience of my life, drugs I don't think anyone has ever heard of, felt like I knew nothing, stopped at 75. And we all know what that means...it could mean anything.
The center said they won't upload the results to the main office until Monday, so I doubt the "trick" would work in this case.
Now I wait.

I've read/heard this is the typical feeling for the majority. I believe you did well. However, I understand you must be anxious to know your results. At the least, you are done with the exam. Hopefully, the Pearson trick will help with the anxiety. Best wishes with the results.
