How long til you received your ATT?

Hello all,

I recently graduated from an Associate Degree Nursing program (RN) in NC. I'm wondering about how long I need to wait until I can expect to receive my ATT from the BON. I have applied/paid/been fingerprinted for months and elected to receive my ATT via email, thinking it was the fastest way.

When can I expect to test?

How long was it for you from graduation until test day?

My final class day was May 11, I was pinned on May 15, and graduated May 17. Any thoughts??

My status is the same. Everything else says received except the school verification and I know that they have it. Some guy from NCBON said remember that it takes up to 3 weeks for processing. I just think it's ridiculous. I went to Spartanburg Community College in SC and there are already grads who are now RNs. The wait is torture especially when you're ready to test.

We probably spoke to the same "guy" from NCBON - what's even more frustrating is that he acted like it was my fault that it was taking them so long, going so far as saying if we (students) didn't call him so often checking our ATT status, they'd get them entered into the computer faster! GAH. Seems like they should hire more folks to work there during this time of year. Paperwork shouldn't be holding up MY CAREER!:angryfire

I know. This is so frustrating. I am interviewing and can't even tell them when I am going to test because I don't have a clue. I pray we will hear something really soon.

I got mine today!! I graduated May 12th. Sent my stuff in that night...I know my school had my transcripts out the next Tues. And I just got mine today. The wait was making me crazy!!! Now I just have to decide when to test. I hope that you get your ATT's soon!!!

ps. Make sure you give pearson your email....much quicker!

ei guys,

I applied for Vermont licensure. After a month, they told me I still need to submit the RLE or Related Learning Experience? Why was it? Was there an applicant denied to take the NCLEX-RN before?

I'm not sure about the last post...

Still no word...It's been 3 1/2 weeks since my grads were in and nearly 2 weeks since the NC BON said they had my verification - still no ATT.

Same here. Still no word. I have been trying not to think about it but I can't help it. On the website, for school verification it reads "not received" but I know they have it. My transcripts were sent in weeks ago.

Ridiculous!

Any of you North Carolinians who are waiting for their ATT: write an email to the board and state that having school verifications sitting on an employee's desk just waiting to be entered in the computer is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

This makes no sense at all. How can you have only one person processing school verifications at a peak time such as this?

Graduated on May 15th from Georgia State. GOT my ATT June 4th

FINALLY!

I noticed today that my BON has updated the status of my school verification to "received". From what I hear, it'll be today or tomorrow when I get my ATT by mail.

I'll let you know!

Yesterday I checked the status of my application on NCBON and everything is verified as received...I thought I would get my ATT from pearson today as thats what happened with others from my school but no such luck yet!

I doubt it will take long but remember to check your junk mail folder
