How long til you received your ATT?

Published

Hello all,

I recently graduated from an Associate Degree Nursing program (RN) in NC. I'm wondering about how long I need to wait until I can expect to receive my ATT from the BON. I have applied/paid/been fingerprinted for months and elected to receive my ATT via email, thinking it was the fastest way.

When can I expect to test?

How long was it for you from graduation until test day?

My final class day was May 11, I was pinned on May 15, and graduated May 17. Any thoughts??

Thanks!!

Jen

i called the nc bon and they said that you have to give them at least 14 business days to process once the paperwork is recieved then after that you can call to see what the problem...hmmm 14 business days is 3 whole weeks. sucks but we dont have any control over it. i am still waiting also. :banghead:

This makes no sense at all. How can you have only one person processing school verifications at a peak time such as this?

i totally agree with this. makes no sense

The dude isn't very nice about it either

Hi,

I have completed my nursing program June 2nd, but there is one more class I wanted to take for summer in order to get A.S degree both in nursing and bio. Does NY BON allow me to take NCLEX now without my associates degree, but with completion of the nusring program and all the requirements? thanx.

Ugh, I'm held up at the NCBON too for my school verification! My transcript was sent over 2 weeks ago and when I called, I got the same lecture from the ONE guy there that it sounds like everyone else got. "I'm the only one processing these items, it takes 14 business days, the more phone calls and emails I have to answer asking for ATT codes the less time I have to load verifications into the computer". How on earth can an entire state board of nursing have ONE person assigned to processing new grad paperwork? I sure hope he's not going on vacation anytime soon...

Georgia BON received my application on May 22....got my ATT on May 31. I scheduled my NCLEX on June 21. I am freaking out.:crying2:

Anyone still lurking around here that can answer my question pertaining to this ATT thing? I recently graduated from Excelsior and my transcripts were sent yesterday expedited! I sent an email to the BON and got shot down with even when we receive your transcripts it takes 2-3 weeks for them to be processed. OMG I have a very promising job and can't put in my notice until I pass my boards at my current job which I have to work one months notice or they pay me minimum wage. I earned my LPN just as I have earned my RN so not willing to do that! OMG it's september here in NC and I know there aren't that many schools graduating!WHAT?

Each state is different but 2-4 weeks does appear to be the norm re waiting for eligibility
