Sucks, paid for the quick results today and was literally shocked it said failed.

Feels like mike tyson hit me in the gut!!!

I got 3 incident report questions and 2 advanced directives. Probably 10-14 select all that apply. 1 picture (PPD shot) know I got that right, googled it!!!

I dont even know where to begin to study for the retake!!!

Man, besides myself right now....

paid another 200 and waiting for authorization to test and retake!!!

got to get back on the horse!!!!

Thanks for your advice. I have to be honest, the first thing I did right after I left pearson vue testing area was call my family, I couldn't help but cry. But you're right, there's nothing we can do at this point but wait for the letter. I didn't want to try the PVT because of the risk of getting charged. But yeah, do you live in Cali as well?

I do live in California as well. I just sat in my car for like 10 minutes and called my girlfriend and texted back the people that wished me luck. My friend let me borrow her old credit card number to try out and I got the good popup. Originally I wasn't planning on doing it.

Yes, please do. [email protected]

I appreciate all the help I have received and comments from everyone, thank you so much!

Is there anyway I may get a copy. Third time is a charm. [email protected]

Okey. After I saw everything you (xaldin4life) common in this discussion. I understand how you feel. I'm sorry for you to experienced all of it. But thank you for share your information. I was keep searched if anyone got CPR with no below but only "above and near" passing level.

You must be defeat been though all of this. It is normal to be anger and depress. Ignore what "duskyjewel"said. He/She is not RN. He/She is CNA(certificated nurse assistant). So be positive and strong. I failed twice too. And I'm working on my third time. I'm sure you will pass in the future. Don't give up.

Yes I took mine back in November but I also failed. All my areas were near passing. I will not give up until I pass..mine stop at 105 question for the nclex-pn so it's hard to understand what all is going on. I still had 100 questions left but I failed. The first time I got all 205 questions ..and I also failed ..who knows really how this works but you got to keep on fighting to pass..Good luck

Dont give up! I passed on 12/15. See my other thread where I talked about the questions I received and how I studied. Mine shut off at 85 again! This time, I passed. WOO HOO!!!! on the 22nd received my new york state registration and license in the mail! Nice to get that and get closure!

Anyways, best of luck to you and dont ever give up, never! You can do it! Time for my RN now...

keep your head up!!just a little bit of patience plus "more" hard work, you've sacrificed a lot with this exam already..and even tho you failed this time doesn't mean your game is OVER! you got this sir! best wishes for 2015!! :)

I have failed the NCLEX three times and I am currently reviewing for NCLEX number 4......Kaplan decision tree sucks.......I am using the Hurst review which is great and the NCLEX 10000 which is also great.......Every time I retake the exam I do poorly in a section that I passed before....in my Cohort we had 11 students we Graduated in June and only two people have passed the NCLEX.......we are all still studying together like we are still in school trying to pass this damm exam.... I am sure we would have passed if the exam was not made harder last year....

This is from the publisher. I'm sure you could get a student discount or a cheaper download from Amazon. It's also called PrepU and some schools offer it as part of the fees.

I have not taken the NCLEX, so take me with a grain of salt: SAFETY & SAVING LIFE are the biggest priorit. I have found over and over in my practice tests that if I pick ABC's and the safest options -- they are almost always right. NCLEX is it's own little world of where you have an order for everything and everything is headed for the worst possible scenario. Any change from baseline, no matter how small is going to crash in 5 minutes and your patient will die.

Delegation & UAP & mental health questions: there's changes from the last NCLEX -- so be sure you have updated info. Nurses have 100% responsibility/Supervision for everything delegated or assigned (make sure you completely understand "responsibility/supervision/delegation/assigned) -- and also think about $$$ -- how best is the staff being utilized in the safest way possible?

Good luck on the next try!! You'll do it!!
