Please take time to check your facts before you post comments based on your "world." "The NCLEX standards increased in 2013" "Published on Jan 10, 2013 The National Council of State Boards of Nursing voted to raise the passing standard for the 2013 NCLEX-RN Examination. The NCLEX is based on Blooms Taxonomy The NCLEX uses the Original Bloom's Taxonomy and the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy for cognitive level classification, as referenced in the NCLEX Test Plans. The passing rate for the state of TEXAS in 2014 was below the national average along with many other states based on the increase in the difficulty of the NCLEX. [h=3]NCLEX-RN PASSING STANDARD[/h]The NCSBN Board of Directors voted in December 2012 to raise the passing standard for the NCLEX-RN. The passing standard was revised from -0.16 logits to 0.00 logit. This passing standard was implemented April 1, 2013, in conjunction with the 2013 NCLEX-RN Test Plan. The new passing standard will remain in effect through March 31, 2016. I took the NCLEX five times and just recently passed.....The Hurst review helped me the most....not sure if you know but the NCLEX passing standards where increased the summer of 2013...the exam is based on Bloom's Taxonomy; before you could pass NCLEX by mastering knowledge and comprehension but now in addition you must master application and analysis. Please trust me I took this exam five times; KAPLAN trainers 6 & 7 both focus on application and analysis; if you can get 60% on these two trainers you have a 95% chance of passing the NCLEX. You can google the Trainers.....Best of luck to you....

I passed the NCLEX with 180 questions; the Kaplan trainers 6 and 7 are the ones that put me over the top...if you want to pass check out those trainers.....

Hello Everyone, I am taking the NCLEX for the 5th time; I am looking for leads on Coupon Codes or organizations that may have NCLEX Vouchers that would help me pay for the exam. Congrats I will be taking exam 4 the end of February.....I am really hoping that I can get pass this exam...I have never struggle with academics so I am just overwhelmed on why I cant pass this exam. My friends and family members are looking at me like I have done something wrong......I am so sick of this exam................

I failed the NCLEX three time and I am know studying for NCLEX numbr 4...I am did the Hurst review which is great and I am doing the NCLEX 10000 which is also great.....check them out

I have failed the NCLEX three times and I am currently reviewing for NCLEX number 4......Kaplan decision tree sucks.......I am using the Hurst review which is great and the NCLEX 10000 which is also great.......Every time I retake the exam I do poorly in a section that I passed before....in my Cohort we had 11 students we Graduated in June and only two people have passed the NCLEX.......we are all still studying together like we are still in school trying to pass this damm exam.... I am sure we would have passed if the exam was not made harder last year....

OK I have been working with the NCLEX 10000 and I am at 1600 questions with a mastery level of 8 in only three sections. Feeling overwhelmed...................

This is a great story of accomplishment....I will be taking the exam for the fourth time at the beginning of the year.....I am looking forward to writing my inspirational story once I have passed. Superman

Thanks so much for your comments....I am trying to get back to studying....I am going to get the NLEX 10000 and see how that helps......I just can not believe I am in this situations......I am really clueless when it comes to what I am doing wrong with this exam.....
