I giving my resignation letter tomorrow morning to the DON. My question is : Do I have to give copies to the Admininstrator, ADON and Human Resources too? Thank you in advance for your response.

If you have reason to believe that the DON is a hateful witch and might try to deny receiving your resignation letter, and then try to terminate you, (Perhaps in order to avoid paying you for accumulated vacation time...) I would make sure that you also give a copy of your letter to HR, and have them sign and date it with the day they receive it.

The last time I turned in my resignation I gave them to the DON, staffing, and HR. Miraculously all three were lost and I got a call the day after my last day from staffing wondering why I didn't come in.

I usually give it to both. DON and HR.

Hand delivery copies to the DON and HR. Also, email them each a copy from your home computer. That way you have the record of when you sent the email, and that it was really sent and received.

In Massachusetts even if you get fired you are paid out all your vacation time.

I'm really sorry all y'all work for such evil people.

Try sending a certified letter with return receipt

You should receive "accrued" vacation/PTO from any place.

This is what I do in addition to any other methods. As winnowill implied, you can never provide too many copies to too many representatives of the organization. If I thought a process server's services would help, I would pay for that method too.
