the surgery is over; i'm at home and on the mend. i cannot believe how much i'm sleeping! i should have known, but somehow didn't. i've been so focused on getting the breast cancer out of me, that i hadn't spent much time considering what comes afterward. pain! and the nagging voice of dh telling me over and over (and probably not without reason) not to use my arms -- don't lift, push or pull. ok -- now i understand why i have to tell my patients that same thing over and over and over and over . . . .

so what really good threads have i missed here?

i'm so glad you're beginning to mend at last. i remember i used my arms way too much postop after my lumpectomy and lived to regret it! take it easy! (that's an order!)
