1. they demand the catheter out so they can have sex with their girlfriend.

2. they cuss you and everyone in the room out regardless of the situation.

3. they are a no information pt because they were shot and they are mad because they aren't suppossed to be calling people to let they know where they are.

4. they want to leave so they can find the drug dealer that shot them so they can "get my gun and do him before he does me".

Yeah but that could be the relief talking. Never been on the receiving end of a foley (not while conscious, anyway) but have been told by patients that being unable to empty your bladder is exquisitely painful. I'm no sweet young thing and I've had similar comments from pts of both sexes once the urine begins to drain.

Really, I doubt they'd want the male nurse, seeing how when they expose their member purposefully like that, they are doing it 1)either to make their female nurse uncomfortable with the sight of their member or 2)they think that they and their member is all that and a bag of chips.

And I'm very happy with my "attitude" thank you very much..If having an attitude means not tolerating crap from some pervert, then yes, I have one.

she rips out the IV and refuses to have it dressed so that she can get blood on anything within reach ...

is suddenly able to walk despite the pain being so bad she can't walk ...

refuses to sign the DC papers "because I'm still in pain and you won't do anything because you don't care!" ....

then grabs newbie nurses on the way out the door to tell them how noone here will help them! and leads them back to "her" room ...

and gets mad because you won't let her back into it.
