You can add your credentials to your username

You can now add your earned credentials (nursing degree, licensure, certifications) so they will be visible beside your username.

Go to your settings and click on the appropriate boxes.

My degree is technically a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, which is what my school offered, not a BSN, although I know they are equivalent degrees. I have BS, RN on my resume. On this website I have BSN listed as highest degree. I know that most programs are BSN.

We have not provided all the specialty certifications due to space limitations.

Cool! However.. I do not see "school of hard knocks " listed.

I actually do have a "College Of Hard Knocks" pin which looks like a totally genuine, legitimate college pin. Found it at a fleamarket for $10 and immediately purchased it; now have it on my ID badge.

I believe there is also an AAS degree - Associate in Applied Science.

How about Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN)?

If diploma is not good enough as a level of education because it is not a degree, perhaps in fairness, education level should be left off for all. As previously stated, and believed by many, RN is enough of an identifier.

We have made some recent changes with the site.

To change your name with the new site changes, look in the upper right of any page and find your name. Click that and choose Dashboard from the dropdown menu. Once there, click the center dropdown menu and find, "Login Information". Follow the prompts and save.

If you have problems, go to the Help Desk, submit three (3) choices and Administrators will change it for you.

That may or not be the true on this site. In any case, I don’t feel it translates to the real world. In the real world, some of the most competent and most respected nurses I’ve worked with have been diploma nurses. Perhaps by default you could opt out.
