  1. I tried not to but it was an hour drive to and from so I really feel that 1) they wasted my time and 2) I'm curious and want to know what I did wrong so I won't make the same mistake with another interview.
  2. I had an interview a few days ago and at the end of the interview I was told there was no opening currently but will keep my name on file. Maybe I'm over thinking it but is it a subtle hint that I'm not hired? I was bummed after that and didn't even bother to keep my phone nearby.
  3. Hi Everyone, I got a couple of interviews after I changed my resume and cover letter. I got hired at a LTC facility; however, the day I accepted the position, a hospital called me for an interview. I really want that hospital position but after the interview, the interviewer told me they don't have any positions open at the moment but will keep my name on file. Is that a way to let me know that they don't want to hire me or is that normal? I'm very curious and feel bummed that I did not get the position. Now I wondered what I did wrong during the interview.
  4. Thank you so much guys! I will revised it ASAP!
  5. Hi everyone, I never really had to write cover letter or resume for my jobs and found it is very hard for me to write a good one. I had a couple people take a look at my resume but because they are from different field, they really can't give me great pointers. So I am hoping the good folks at allnurses can help me with it. Any critique is appreciated. Thank you so much. 6. congrats paratroopa! Hi catroberts, I wasn't a great student either and had to repeat 3rd semester:(. So I hope that will help with your confident. I passed NCLEX first time. :)
  7. Well according to this forum, MBON do the odd year and even year birth date. Since they are making it a two year renewal, they implement the odd and even year. Since 12 was the odd year that people have to renew on their birthdate regardless when they got their license, now it is the even year birthdate so that explain why mine is expiring in 6 months. Sheesh, you'd think the people at MBON would know the answer since they're the ones implementing the rules!
  8. congrats!
  9. Okay guys, I got my MD license but it expired in August of 2014, which means it will expire in 6 months. I called MBON because my girlfriend has the same birthday month as me and we took it the same day. Hers expired in 2015 of August but the representative can't give me a correct answer and I've been getting the runabout. Does anyone knows how MBON works because I'm getting very fustrated.
  10. congrats! Now you can breathe! lol
  11. Thanks guys! So Christinaxxcheer did you find out yet?
  12. I just found out I passed! PVT really did work but I paid for quick result so that I can breathe finally.
