Something got me thinking of getting fired and I started searching around for my old threads.
I have a lot of friends here, and you have taught me so much. You got me through two horrible firings, AND helped me figure out where I was going wrong during huge LTC med passes. Not to mention cheered me on through school, rejoiced in my successes and shored me up when the pilings were failing.
Thank youse.

I am so glad you were able to settle into a job that was a good fit for your gifts. It makes me happy to see you happy.
Isn't allnurses wonderful? As much as I love my non-nursing friends, sometimes ya just have to tell it to someone who has been there.
Plus nurses are the coolest people on Earth.
(Not that I'm biased or anything, being a nurse )

Yes, you really have blossomed since then.........I'm glad you've found your niche, both in nursing and in life. It takes some of us longer, but then, the longer we have to wait, the sweeter it is when we finally come into our own.
GO SUE!!!!!

You sound happier than you've sounded in a long time, my friend. I'm glad you're part of this loony family. :)
Non-nurses just don't get it.

Sue: I regard you as one of my "virtual" internet buddies. I feel the same way about some other members.

On top of all that, you also have the coolest nick I've seen on any forum.
I used to be Sue in NYC on a running board and then, a year after I moved to the country, asked my friends there to suggest new names for me. I can't take credit - a friend in Flordia came up with it.
It suits me.
