JUZ heard some news that a group of students esp those who failed the exam are planning to protest at PRC because of the recent controversial NLE exam.. (LEAKAGE thingy), the said students want the oathtaking to be cancelled because of the irregularities in the said exam..

oh so both news sounds so confusing because PRC says based on june 28, 2006 news that "THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Friday that it has decided to hold in "abeyance until further notice" the scheduled August 22 oath-taking of 17,871 new nurses" and another news said "A postponement of the oath taking of successful examinees was rejected by the PRC which declared that the supposed leakage had no glaring impact on the test". Does anyone of you guys had visited recently PRC in Manila? If so pls update us. Thanks so much.

im also confuse coz i came to PRC yesterday to know my board rating.. i also checked my schedule of registration.. i didn't see any announcements regarding changes in the scheduled oathtaking...
shame on PRC and BON to question our credibility... isn't it us who should question them? they are the ones who made these exams to make sure that those who would pass it can be called "competent/ safe nurse" then they question those who passed because of their irregularities... i don't think its fair though...
another thing, if they have doubts themselves then they should have opted not to issue the results then sue people later on... tsk3!~
It is in the law that once they release the list of successful examinees, they will automatically be listed as registered nurses. I think postponing the oathtaking ceremony is the least that they could do for those who complain........

coz im kinda lost.. planning to take nclex dont know where to start should i apply for the exam or review first..
or if ever u have applied in a hospital, plz let me know where.. coz im afraid that employers would not accept or entertain a june 2006 board passer because of the issue...

definitely, take all the exams first, passed it all, then, u can start working!

i hope not...prc has even a posted schedule now for those who will register.registration is alphabetical.i was in prc earlier to check my sched.i already have my oathtaking form also.so if its true that it will be moved, why would they give out oathtaking forms to have it notarized and metered stamp this early.but the registration will start aug 15, if im not mistaken...
