  1. Thanks a lot! i appreciate it. I haven't signed up yet. I still want to make sure I'll be OK with the package they offer.
  2. Is this good enough for a guy who doesn't go out much, is willing to do OTs and holiday shifts, has cell phone and internet, and doesn't need a large space to live (just a one bedroom apt, perhaps). SALARY OF $26.75 PER HOUR ONE WEEK'S PAID VACATION AFTER HAVING WORKED 2080 HOURS (1 year) OVERTIME & HOLIDAYS COMPENSATION OF 1.5 TIMES THE EMPLOYEE'S STANDARD HOURLY RATE OPTION TO PARTICIAPTE IN THE COMPANY'S HEATLH INSURANCE PROGRAM EMPLOYEE SHALL BE ENTITLED TO MEDICAL COVERAGE(DENTAL) UNDER THE MEDICAL PLAN EMPLOYEE SHALL BE ENTITLED TO FREE TERM LIFE INSURANCE COVERAGE, PROVIDED EMPLOYEE IS INSURABLE AT REGULAR RATES 401K PLAN (OPTIONAL) ONE MONTH FREE HOUSING FREE WORKER'S COMPENSATION And please, if you don't mind, explain to me (in layman's terms) what what 401K plan is. Thanks a lot.
  3. there's nothing unfair with that decision, i think. it's just their standard. if you think it's unfair you have all the right not to apply for a job in the US. but if you want to live and work in their territory, you have to abide by their rules.
  4. that's right. it seems like almost every single graduate looks forward to working/training at PHC that it's becoming so overrated. there are many other decent hospitals out there that dont make you wait that long. i think in the PDA handbook there's a list of hospitals in MM. my friend has one and that's what we used to see which hospitals are near our area.
  5. i'm planning to retake all of the exams
  6. is this the same case if i passed but dont really want to register as a nurse? and i have no plans of retaking the exam, because i wont register anyway...

  8. ts probably one of the least in the priority..
  9. i hope the US nursing officials didnt get carried away by those words
  10. it should not bother you. that just applies for those who are already in the US but since youre still probably applying for a visa, then you're not qualified for a graduate rn status. it does not affect your nclex eligibility (they just told you you're eligible to sit for nclex!). just go ahead and register and break a neck (yeah!) on your exam.
  11. there's a thread here named 'florida nclex eligibility' search for it, it shouldnt be buried too deep in the forum
  12. as much as i want the testing site here, im thinking twice now. we really cant trust these people running our government. they all have their own agenda. it's all just about themselves, not for the people... sad to say that this is one thing i'm most ashamed of about the philippines
  13. ok thanks for the info
  14. i guess they're still in denial hehe
  15. oh ok. thanks for that. btw, from where did you learn that from? just want to cite a source when i tell it to my friends
