JUZ heard some news that a group of students esp those who failed the exam are planning to protest at PRC because of the recent controversial NLE exam.. (LEAKAGE thingy), the said students want the oathtaking to be cancelled because of the irregularities in the said exam..

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO US WHO LEGITIMATELY PASSED the BOARD!!!

haaaaaysss.... I HOPE THINGS WILL BE ALRIGHT.. coz i cant make a move till im finally sure of myself..

PLZ PRAY FOR US..

TNX..

not half of the questions asked in the local board test the credibility of the nurses in practice

it wasnt even based on the handout they gave during the meeting of the deans. i thought it would be about the 11 core competencies... really disappointed

I want this thing to be over, I want my license so I can submit my application form....without all those controversies...we should have already taken and passed the NCLEX already.

Hi. From what I heard, some unfortunate takers were just waiting for an explanation on how the exam was checked. I, myself, am wondering how'd they go about the checking since the leakages were proven. But yeah, we passed! So the oath taking should push through. ;)

i would suggest that u finish all the necessary exams first if u really wanna work here in the states..like me, i just went here and took the exams (nclex-still waiting for the result thou) without any experience, anyway u dnt need that experience here..Goodluck

is that really possible? i mean would there be hosp out there willing to sponsor a nurse for a green card even without d hosp experience? had my nclex & ielts done & fortunately passed it both.

Hi guys! I have a question, cuz I just turned 20 last March, and fortunately I passed the June NLE, thank God! Congrats also to all those who passed! My friend told me that I cannot get my license, not until I turn 21 next yr, I can work but I wll still have to wait to get my license, is that true?

not true

if you'd spend time reading similar topics in this forum, you'll learn that hospital experience here in the philippines doesnt matter in the US because the practice there will be very much different. the only thing that would matter is if you've been working here for so long already

The biggest issue is that you must wait to get an actual license number issued for any application for the US. And for those of you that did not pass the exam, you cannot with hold it from an application or omit it, if asked if you ever took a licensing exam.

You are much better off not taking the exam to begin with if your goal is to work in the US. The amount of experience that you could get at home will not make any difference in the US.

So its means I can get my license right away after oathtaking?

yes

A friend of mine who took the oath taking last year said that the fee for this is P400, and that there was the word FREE written on the ticket made by ticketworld. And that they were not given receipt for this. Any comment? You think it's fair? Or was there any explanation why the word FREE is written and yet they paid for it without receipt? Will the same thing happen to us?

how much is the payment for the "rush" need to get the board rating right away.. tnx
