Would It Be Possible For Prc To Cancel The Oathtaking At Aug 22??

JUZ heard some news that a group of students esp those who failed the exam are planning to protest at PRC because of the recent controversial NLE exam.. (LEAKAGE thingy), the said students want the oathtaking to be cancelled because of the irregularities in the said exam..
WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO US WHO LEGITIMATELY PASSED the BOARD!!!
haaaaaysss.... I HOPE THINGS WILL BE ALRIGHT.. coz i cant make a move till im finally sure of myself..

the oathtaking on aug22 will push through. but if the NBI's investigation will prove that there indeed was a leakage (w/c i THOUGH there was, because 2 BON members were already named) the prc will revoke/suspend licenses. but i think those only hu benefited from the leakage. as for us hu dint take part (yes, i too passed and swear to the heavens that dint cheat), we dont need to fret. they cant prove something that dint happen, ryt?? they just cant state that all those hu passed cheated, therefore all licenses shud be revoked. hu are they fooling?!

goodluck to us. and i can say that we have a fight. :cool:

and.. those hu are planning to protest are just acting BITTER. they simply cant accept defeat. i dunno why they cant run out of reasons for their own failures.. and kept on pulling those on top. god bless them.. i hope, and enlighten their minds that life's not always what u want it to be. im not saying that we all shud forget bwt the leakage issue (im so sick of it). but y not leave the NBI on their investigations?? all those protests and rallies wud just add up to the problems our country is facing. crab mentality is always a fad.. and filipinos are advocates of it. sad

when the results werent released yet, ALL are ranting.. complaining that they (prc) shud release it because the anxiety levels of the takers are up a notch each day. and now that it was released, another set of complaints rose up. i bet after the NBI's investigation, another set of protests will occur.. the reason?? that, i do not know yet.

in just proud cuz I passed the exams without leakages....BITTER people i beleive are the ones who are planning to protest....anyway...when do we recieve our board rating per test???

if u want, u can go to the prc and request for ur rating. there are the "rush", w/c u have to pay a bit higher than the regular, w/c u can get after 2days. the "rush" is released the same day u requested.

as to where do we start now that we passed, i say.. do a volunteer work first (i will.. hehe) coz i heard the nclex exam slots are full till nov and processing for the application takes tym. and review centers do not accept reviewees if they dont have these certain slip that proves that ur nclex applications were accepted (im not saying ALL centers, and this goes to those hu are planning to enroll into one)

hayys... do u also know that a certain board passer tried to apply for a job in a hospital.. and the questions in the interview are all pertaining to the leakage thing.. i hope the issue wont ruin the reputation of board passers in our batch..

i would suggest that u finish all the necessary exams first if u really wanna work here in the states..like me, i just went here and took the exams (nclex-still waiting for the result thou) without any experience, anyway u dnt need that experience here..Goodluck

wow!!!wait i have a question...Ryt now, i have a visa which will expire in 09...can i just go there and take nclex or do i still have to apply from here?problem is tourist visa toh...

tourist visa is not a problem, as long as u received ur ATT..u cud take ur exam here...that's what i did...

yeah, exactly what is the rantings & jitters all about???... if you intend to work in US (and I assume everyone does), the 'local boards' is not even a requirement!!!...

we know 2 people who graduated last march, went to US and applied direct in a hospital (they didn't take the nle! lucky & wise decision for them)... but they passed the N-CLEX!... they left for US this month on immigrant's visa (whole family)...one we knew, didn't make it in 2005 nle... but, also passed the N-CLEX! she's now working in US & earning dollars...

my point is, if they want to question the credibility of the entire 2006 nursing batch, let us all take the N-CLEX! no prc, no (phil) bon, and no leakage there... let the N-CLEX decide our fate... :angryfire

the few 'elitist nursing deans' have no rights to questions the integrity & quality of the whole 2006 nursing graduates... that is very judgemental coming from people who are suppose to support the recent nursing grads... after all, some of these grads were taught by them... clowns! :biggringi
