What kind of scores are you getting in the qbank questions? I'm getting anywhere from the 50s-low 70s. I want to know if that is pretty standard/adequate. I think I remember in my Kaplan class the lady telling us that we should shoot for a 50 on the tests so it gives us some wiggle room...
anybody?
THanks!

Mine really varied! They say question trainers 6 and 7 are the best indicators of how you do on the NCLEX and my teacher said we should feel good with a 60 or above - I got a 63 and 65 and got 75q on the nclex. Good luck!

Don't get wrapped around the axle with these scores. Instead rely upon your own judgement about how well you are getting the material down. Good luck.

I've heard it recommended ~60%. I got around those scores when I was doing it and I just passed with 75 q's. Good luck!

I am seeing a real difference in my Question Trainers v. my Qbank scores: I got a 69 on my Readiness, 71 on QT5, and a 72 on QT6, but my Qbanks sometimes drop down quite a bit further. Even with the good QTscores, I am a nervous wreck. I am so afraid that my fear will trip me up and I'll second guess myself right into failing.
Oh, for these five days to be over and to be finished with this horrendous beast (and to pass, of course)!

I think the biggest trick is if you know why you scored the way you did. For me, my scores went up and down quite a bit- I did 95% of Kaplan qbank and my overall average was 61%- however some of those scores were really high (80's) some were much lower (40s!)- on an average day I would say I was 65.
The point is, on the days I did poorly, I KNEW it was because I was really tired that day, or distracted, or rushed through the test. This is one of the main functions of the qbank- to show you not only content you need to brush up on, but your testing weaknesses.
Also, if you are down to two answers on qbank, always pick one and then change it to the other- They will show you if you tend to change from incorrect to correct or vice versa. I personally found that really helpful- I found out that I tend to change from right to wrong, or in other words I should disregard my first impulsive choice
And yesterday I passed the NCLEX in 75!
