    Westlake area jobs

Hey everyone, I am looking for help with what I should be expecting in terms of job search in this area of California. My husband is looking at a job in this area. I am BSN, CCRN certified. I am looking at what are considered good hospitals to work at in this area, and what I can expect in terms of hourly rate. For comparison, I am in the meto Philly area and make 42-45 an hour. Any and all help would be super appreciated, and if more info is needed from me I will gladly answer. Thanks for all responses!

I have ordered from them multiple times without a problem.

    MA to RN

I graduated when I was 22 and started working right away. I don't think 23 is too old.

Just passed my CCRN! Ask away!

Thank you for this. I take my test in a few days! I used the pass CCRN and listened to the gasparis CDs. What do you mean when you say "you had to work for it"? Can you remember anything from your test you wish you had known? Congratulations!!!! Thank you again!

Any advice for a ICU experienced nurse?

Thank you for your response. I have applied to St. Mary's and Abington. I hope to hear from them soon, just stressful waiting!
  9. Hi there, I am a ICU experienced RN from Arizona. I have just moved to the Southampton, PA area and I need a job. I am 1 class away from getting my BSN (as in, I am enrolled in the class, and it finishes this December.) I feel like that is holding me back. I REALLY can't afford to be jobless until December. I have been applying for all the hospitals in the area. Any advice or does any PA RN know of any hospitals that would open to hiring someone like me. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance! :)

  12. Hello all, I'm looking for some help. I am moving to Southampton PA this summer. I have 3 years experience, 1 year in ICU and I will be finishing up my BSN this fall. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions for my job search? I did get my nursing license transferred already, so that's taken care of. I'm looking at hospitals in the area, especially St. Mary's medical center in Langhorne, PA. Has anyone worked there or have any advice? Any thoughts or suggestions would be SO appreciated!

Things to know on first day?

Thank you for your reply! I actually came from the same background, a CV telemetry unit. I am trying to study up on my terms, and anatomy. What was one thing you would recommend, if you can think back? Thank you again!

Things to know on first day?

So, I am starting my first day this week in a big Neuro ICU and I was wondering if anyone could tell me something they wished they had known on their first day. Or, for those of you on here that are preceptors, what would you like your orientee to know coming in? Thanks for all the responses!

    Neuro ICU interview tomorrow!

Hello all! I finally have a legitimate reason to post in here! I have an interview tomorrow (June 28th) at 1300 for a Neuro ICU position! I have just one question: 1) What kinds of questions are asked in the interview? What should I review? I'm kinda nervous coming from a CV telemetry floor. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!
