Hi Everyone!

I am asking for help. I am thinking of relocating with my family to the Half Moon Bay area. ( San Mateo, San Jose areas). I am a BSN, CCRN, nurse with heart experience, ECMO's, etc. Can anyone tell me if I will have difficulty getting a job at a decent facility? I usedto work for the Dignity Health system. Thank you very much for any feedback!

Half moon bay is the beach and with traffic can take well over hour and a half towards San Jose area. I'd start applying because you have the right degrees and experience. If you are able to use a local address it helps get your resume noticed more. I am not in the Bay Area, but using my families address helped me have bites when I was considering it. Definitely look at hospitals nearer what areas you are planning to move to because it's not light traffic up there.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply! I feel better about my chances!

I don't have any job outlook advice, but just wanted to add that I'm very jealous! I grew up down the road in Santa Cruz, and would love to return to that area some day. Good luck!:)

Thank you! It is still in the early planning stages. I am from California originally, and my husband fell in love with the area. I am just putting feelers out to see what the job situation looks like! Hope you get there soon!
