That's right; this semester is over and it's no longer in my hands! :yeah:I'm officially playing the waiting game! I've done all that I can and all that needs to be done. The school's acceptance letters go out in March so I'm on here looking for someone, anyone on here who might be in the same boat as me and who wants to jump into the pool and swim with me as we wait for our numbers to be called!
So... anyone out there?
My wait is over! I just got into GPC Fall 09 ....still waiting to hear from BSN programs....and then hopefully I will get to decide! and see who offers the best Financial Aid!!!Thank goodness the wait is over!!! I'm both excited and scared and in disbelief that my life will be a changing sooner than later!!!
Good Luck to all of you still on pins and needles!!!
I'm in!! Took my NLN on Feb. 28th, got my score and am now waiting for the school's rejection or acceptance letter! Keeping my fingers crossed for everybody...
I just got my acceptance letter for NMU Nursing Program Fall '09!

I also applied there. You should be getting a letter for an information session soon which is worth 15 extra points. Then a final acceptance/denial letter should come around the end of may, early June. I also applied to Sandhills cc and was accepted to their program for fall '09. They also do late consideration, but their final application deadline is May 18th. HTH.
Congratulations heatherab29, and to anyone else in the thread I missed. Still sweating bullets here, :anbd: waiting to hear from MWCC in Mass. They're late with their letters, apparently because there were far more applications than they expected. Gulp!
Congrats again to all who got the "good" letter. Enjoy the summer, and good luck for the fall.
:ancong!:
Matt,Don't fear starting over! I have been in the business world 30 years and I have been back in school for three years just to get ready for Nursing school. I have applied at two schools. Still waiting....
I have finished all my prereqs and have applied to a program. I have heard the actual Nursing Program is pretty tough. I am more nervous about that and finding a job when I am done. That is at least 2 1/2 years from now, but it crosses your mind when you have a stable, good paying job.
Good Luck getting into your schools. I am hoping to get a letter in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
Matt
You are right. I have a great job now but my life long dream was nursing and I just can't miss the opportunity to do that. When life starts rolling, it is hard to find a place to stop and regroup. Once I started back to school I have been so excited about the possibilities. I must admit, sometimes I think 'what are you doing' because I do miss life before school in addition to work. I shake it off and keep rolling. Hang in there!!
