...that Lisa (Lunah) is going to be an RN today after her boards, but she just won't know it yet? Silly nursing boards and the 2-day wait for quick results!

I still cannot figure that out. My medical transcription certification had short answer items for about half the test and I still walked out of the testing center knowing my final results. Why can't the nursing boards do that, too? I'm thinking the boards people have a contract with Imodium, Pepto-Bismol, and Tylenol P.M., considering the heavy use of these items while the tester waits and waits and waits for those results.

LOL!! Thank you! Here's the kicker -- Virginia isn't even a state where you can get the quick results! So I'll be obsessively looking for my name on the Virginia BON website. :D

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the NCLEX result is looked over by a pair of human eyes -- thus the wait.

When is the soonest you can find out, then? You must indulge us stalkers so we may hit refresh on our browsers 800 times when you think you may know your results.

I guess I knew the thing about the human eyes, but sheesh! I remember my husband (after 265 questions, many about partial gastrectomies) making our lives absolute HELL because he was convinced--absolutely convinced--that he failed. Fortunately I got his unofficial results 2 days later to shut him up! I think NCLEX owes us his money back for doing that to us.

Anyway, you will rock that thing!

I'm hoping I'll know on Friday! But it might take until Monday. I'm thinking if I don't know by Friday, I'll know by Monday. I hope!!! LOL

That is a killer having to wait, but I know those 30 seconds you wait for that EC grade is the worst, can't imagine what this is going to be like! But just remember you are a intelligent women who is going in their to kick some NCLEX butt!!!!! Best of luck, I will stop everything at 2:45 to say a prayer for you!

It shut off at 75 questions ... I just about soiled myself! LOL!! :D I don't know if it was what I expected or not, but it sure felt just like an EC exam!

*fingers crossed* I'm not sure when I'll find out, but I'll let you all know!
