Who else is starting clinicals in the winter?

all this talk about starting in january is making me anxious!! but its hard for me because our orientation is not until January right before we start. Why would they do that. We need to get alot of things in order before we can start. We cant just assume things and buy anything. Whatever. Im just happy that Im starting in January

Nathalie you can get a copy of the list from someone who started already or even in the nursing department you can request a copy to get started on it. :)

I called them. They say that out orientation letters come in November/ December and that is when we find out what kind of uniforms we need to purchase. She could not tell me the specifics. That really sucks. So I have to wait another 4-5 months. NOT COOL!

I am going into a BSN program. Our pre-reqs are only a year and a half, so nursing school will start in January. I have already been pretty much guaranteed a spot, but not for sure. We also don't find out until early November, but that's alright, I'm just really anxious. I'm excited for everyone else who starts in January, so congratulations!!!! :) and GOOD LUCK!!!

Well...I don't find out until mid to late October, but I'm praying that I'm starting clincals in the January 06 semester. I have a pretty good feeling about it.

I'm applying to five schools in three states as well as DCN online to maximize my chances. Overkill, maybe, but I'm not leaving anything to chance! I'm so excited I could pop! :rotfl:

I'm pretty confident of an acceptance somewhere.

You are one of the lucky ones. I only get to chose from 2 because all the others have a looooooong waiting list and go by lottery system, and the other choice is about 2 hours away so I can't make it. The one I am at now, is so darn expensive but my only alternative. Wish me luck

Geez, that is not cool then. Maybe they change things each semester or something. I know that I went and asked for a list and they gladly gave it to me. Even though they haven't even told me if I am excepted or not. :)
