Who has the best CPNE workshop?

Nursing Students Online Learning

I passed Ethics on Saturday and am now within 10 hrs of finishing, I now also get to look forward to my FCCA and CPNE.

I do understand that every one will have their own opinion, but I wouldn't mind hearing from y'all, about who might have the best CPNE workshop.

Thanks

i took lynn's at the beginning of my cpne studies and couldn't afford another one after that. i passed my cpne first time.

People who had attended more than one workshop and were at west coast Tina's with me, all said that Tina's was the best. Have only attended her's but can say it is worth the money. As far as I know everyone in that group except one has now passed after taking Tina's workshop. I highly recommend west coast Tina.

Is the Tina cpne workshop everyone is discussing out of Pennsylvania? I just want to make sure that I pick the right one.

West coast Tina is the one out of CA

(i attended lynn's twice ..first time beginning of my cpne studies the second about 2 weeks before my cpne....past first time no pcs repeats....i would stick with either lynn's or tina's )

hey did lynn let you come back for free or did you have to pay again? i went to her workshop early and would love to go back before to review! thanks

good luck!!

i am in central new jersey and would love to know more about this workshop in cherry hill. i understand it is an ec workshop? do they always have it at that site throughout the year? after you go there, would you mind giving a review?

thanks,

angel

this was the only cherry hill workshop listed for the entire year given directly by ec. i would definately keep an eye on the ec website for future dates. i'll put up a review by the end of next week.

A lot of people who attend EC workshops have positive experiences with it for the most part.

I have to say though, they do a horrible job of hyping it to us the students. When I was comparing all the workshops I read the description for EC's and it was very non-exciting stuff. I would think they would try and make it more appealing to students.

I took Sheri Taylor's workshop in Atlanta 4 weeks before taking the CPNE in June '09 and it was awesome. Small class size. Ample opportunity to practice labs and assessments, as well as work on careplans and get immediate feedback. Sheri is very knowledgable and her course is well organized. I failed the CPNE my first time and passed after taking Sheri's workshop. I wish I had taken her workshop first - it would have saved me a lot of money re-taking the CPNE. I really loved that she was available by phone whenever I had a question.

I also utilized Rob's CPNE DVD and mnemonics, which I had purchased months before learning about Sheri's workshop. Although Rob's material is excellent, especially the mnemonics, I still felt that I needed a workshop with a real person and hands-on experience in a simulated environment. Sheri's workshop, in my opinion, was invaluable to my passing the CPNE. It really helped that I could call her anytime with questions in the 4 weeks prior to my CPNE.

Lynn Frederick has an excellent workshop. You can find her online and she travels to different locations throughout the US. I also have utilized materials from http://www.robscpne.com . I have used these materials at home after the workshop and for practice. I am taking my CPNE next weekend, so, everyone please say a prayer and wish me luck!!!!

Tina and Lynn rock. :) I took workshops with both of them! (Don't mind me, I always over-prepare, over-study. Ha ha.) Also, the Tina in California has a great reputation. Lynn's workshop travels, which is a bonus if you're not near either Tina (one in PA, one in Cali).

I didn't take EC's workshop -- they didn't have one near me at the right time. I've heard they tend to be a little overcrowded, but you also can't beat getting the info right from the source.

Oh, and Chancellor's has a five-day workshop in Indiana -- I know a couple of people who took that one and loved it. Small class size, lots of hands-on, from what I hear.

I took Lynn's workshop at the beginning of my studies (gave me a great foundation), then Tina's in PA two weeks before my CPNE. There were only four of us at Tina's, which was awesome -- she keeps her class sizes small. Loved it!

How do I get into contact with the people for the Indiana workshop?
