Who has the best CPNE workshop?

Nursing Students Online Learning

Published

I passed Ethics on Saturday and am now within 10 hrs of finishing, I now also get to look forward to my FCCA and CPNE.

I do understand that every one will have their own opinion, but I wouldn't mind hearing from y'all, about who might have the best CPNE workshop.

Thanks

Steve

How do I get into contact with the people for the Indiana workshop?

Web address is in post 11 of this thread.

Ditto LunahRN. I did Lynn; workshop at the beginning of my CPNE process. Very basic and focused if that is what you need. East Coast Tina's is more intense and she offers a yahoogroups careplanning course that was terrific and exactly what I needed. So check them both. Lynn does travel so depending where you live you may want to go there. East Coast Tina is near Wilkes-Barre, PA if you are in the northeast.

I took Sheri's workshop in Atlanta. I'm really glad I did. She really put everything together and after the workshop she is still available via e-mail or phone (I never called, though. She answers e-mails very fast)

She has some people who already passed CPNE to assist the students during the workshop. Greg, if you read it, you were awesome! Really liked how you broke down all the assessments and thanks for all the little tips :)

Has anyone taken Josh's CPNEWorkshop in Tulsa? I am looking for somewhere in the midwest?

I haven't heard any reviews, but if you attend, please let us know how it is! It sounds pretty good, based on the website -- small class size, taught by an EC grad, etc.

tina and lynn rock. :) i took workshops with both of them! (don't mind me, i always over-prepare, over-study. ha ha.) also, the tina in california has a great reputation. lynn's workshop travels, which is a bonus if you're not near either tina (one in pa, one in cali).

i didn't take ec's workshop -- they didn't have one near me at the right time. i've heard they tend to be a little overcrowded, but you also can't beat getting the info right from the source.

oh, and chancellor's has a five-day workshop in indiana -- i know a couple of people who took that one and loved it. small class size, lots of hands-on, from what i hear.

i took lynn's workshop at the beginning of my studies (gave me a great foundation), then tina's in pa two weeks before my cpne. there were only four of us at tina's, which was awesome -- she keeps her class sizes small. loved it!

lynn and tina in pa promote each other! they work together on staying updated for the students. i have heard many good things about tina. i actually attended lynn's workshop for $370 and got everything i needed. lynn has the best workshop out there and the best price.

when i got to her workshop there were 2 students in my class that attended because ce's at the center where they failed recommended that they attend lynn's workshop! you can't get any better recommendtion than that!

i passed my cpne with no repeats on the first try.

go to her web site and check it out. www.clinicalprepexam.com

I took Tina's workshop in San Jose and I passed everything the first time! I basically just memorized everything she taught us and I just passed last weekend. I would go to Tina's workshop again and I highly recommend it!!

I went to Excelsiors workshop, it was in Reno and flights to Reno are cheap. I am glad I went, I also got the skills kit to practice. My friend went to one in California (not EC), and she benifited as well. GOOD LUCK!!

I am so very glad to see this post. Just passed LS2, almost there...

Lunah, the link for East coast Tina doesn't seem to work, and I am not finding something on my own. Do you have any other info to help me find her? Thank you for you input, it is incredibly helpful! K

As soon as I finished posting, I think I found the link for Tina in PA workshop:

I highly recommend this workshop also. Most people who take her workshop are able to pass the first time. http://www.cheducation.com

To anyone interested in a workshop I

Beg you to only take excelsiors workshop.

I attended a private workshop from one

Of the people mentioned here and it was awful.

I listened to two straight days of this woman

Brag about how she has the highest pass

Rate continuously. Her ego was unbearable.

A lot of the info was wrong.

There is an attitude on this board that

You have to take a workshop to pass the

Cpne. This IS NOT necessary. The cpne is

Very straight forward and simple. Read your study

Guide 3 times. Know your grid. Know you pneumonics.

Know care plans. Practice care plans. Have an appt with an ec

Advisor every week.

You can take every workshop there is

And still not pass. This test is about what you

Put into it, not about taking one, two or even eight

Workshops.

Good luck
