To anyone interested in a workshop I Beg you to only take excelsiors workshop. I attended a private workshop from one Of the people mentioned here and it was awful. I listened to two straight days of this woman Brag about how she has the highest pass Rate continuously. Her ego was unbearable. A lot of the info was wrong. There is an attitude on this board that You have to take a workshop to pass the Cpne. This IS NOT necessary. The cpne is Very straight forward and simple. Read your study Guide 3 times. Know your grid. Know you pneumonics. Know care plans. Practice care plans. Have an appt with an ec Advisor every week. You can take every workshop there is And still not pass. This test is about what you Put into it, not about taking one, two or even eight Workshops. Good luck

Hey. I actually live about 20 miles from One of their campuses. My wife and I Are about to start their bsn program, Our employer pays for it through them. We know ALOT of people that bsn through Them. Just about everyone does here. The Tuition is cheap. According to everyone It is very manageable. The courses are 5 Weeks long. Not overly difficult. You can take 2 at a time if you like in order to finish in Half the time. And Ohio university, don't Confuse them with Ohio state, is the oldest School in Ohio, has a pretty good rep. You won't regret getting it through them. Good luck

If interviewing for a panel of men, dont be afraid to dress a little sexy. If interviewing for a panel of women, dress professional and reserved, or you will just invoke jealous catty attitudes. Dont worry so much about wearing the perfect outfit. Remember to bring your brain and you will be fine. Good Luck.

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with clep exams. I have passed all of the nursing exams but still have to take the 6 humanities credits and 3 psych credits. How were the clep exams? How long did it take to prepare for them? What study material did you use? Thanks ahead of time

Thanks guys. Congrats on passing repro Berry. All guy though I am going ahead and getting my study material together for the CPNE. I went ahead and got robscpne lab and aoc, ordered excelsior's flash cards and audio flash cards. Plan on getting the study guide printed off. I went ahead and got a care plan book. Is there anything else anyone recommends?

Welcome. This is the only support group Ive used so far. My study materials were-fundamentals, med surg, saunders nclex review, and studygroup101

Finished my last theory exam today, transitions. Took 8 months but it went by fast. Called EC about the FCCA and they said I should be able to register for it around Wednesday. Still on paper they said. Cant wait to get this part done with.

Thx for the response Meg. I am definately taking a workshop, was just debating on taking the one you did or a 2 day. Ill have to end up doing the two day that way I can do it without missing a 24. Congrats again. Cant wait to see when you pass the NCLEX.

Chronicity had 160. All the others ive taken had 130. I like to read the material in a book, then go over studygroup 101 notes, take an ec practice exam. Then go back over the material i felt weak on or didnt fully understand. If I get an 80 on my second ec practice exam I go take the test. If not, which luckily hasnt happened yet, I will study for probably another week.
