Where do you sit in lecture

Published

i sit in the front row, front and center. i have been doing this since i started college in 2006. i'm hoping i can secure my front seat spot for my last two classes in ns.

if i sit in the middle or back rows i get very distracted :uhoh3::uhoh3:. so far it has worked well for me. where do you guys prefer to sit in lecture ?

I try to sit at the front slightly to the left. I use a voice recorder to free me up to listen actively and so I don't have to take notes during lecture. That being said, if the professor is on a raised platform, sometimes I'll sit a few rows back to be more level with the prof.

I like to lay low in the back corner. My instructor last semester makes everyone that fails a test sit in the front row, she seems to think it helps students pay attention. So by the end of the semester I think I was the only one still in the back row.

This is so funny. I never really thought about where I sit. I am in 6 classes this semester and I sit in the back, the back, the 2nd row by the wall, 1st row by the wall, in the front/center and in the back/center. I don't really care where I sit. If I'm going to be taking notes on the laptop, I tend to sit in the back so I don't bother people. Other than that, I sit wherever there's an empty seat.

I prefer to study books more than to listen to the lecture. I day dreamed a lot too. After class me and my sat-in-the-front-row friend would get together and study. She will tell me what the instructor was big on and I will fill her what the book says.

Back row, left side. I can see the power points better from the back than from the front, and I can see everything in the classroom. I HATE having people sitting behind me- I like my back against the wall, I don't know why.

front row( Always). Those who sit all the way in the back don't want to pay attention, they want to gossip..........if I didn't want to pay attention or learn, I would much rather sleep instead of showing up and doing nothing.
