I am and oncology/chemo nurse and work in an outpt clinic of 7 docs (private practice)

I have a question for the polls I haven't seen here yet.
Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?
Second question what is your speciality?
Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

Traveler in Hospitals -- ER, Med/Surg, Peds, Post-Partum, Nursery.....Some time in LTC. What can I say....I love to roam:p

i work as rn on medical/ortho/surgical unit.. we get just about everything! worked on renal/diabetic unit for over a year.

hi there :) i work as an health & social care worker in the community & live in wales uk. i care for the terminally ill & my tasks range from the clinical giving medication ect to household duties like washing & cleaning.

Home Health Care in Canada--we do everything from IV's to wound care to g-tubes/pleurex catheters etc... no blood transfusions or laundry

I am a clinical research coordinator. I work in an academic/clinic setting with a department of Pediatric Infectious Disease and HIV. Most of my patients are children but sometimes I see adults. I got my certification two years ago and I have become more involved in regulatory issues, including working with our IRB. In a couple weeks the CDC is coming to visit..SO exciting to me because I think it would be cool to coordinate studies for them. I love my job! I also do some Peds home health on the side a couple times a month.

I've worked in LTC and assisted living, but I'm happiest where I am now, as a hospital float nurse (my specialty is Med/Surg). I just took the national certification exam, so I hope to have some extra credentials soon proving not only my competency, but excellence in my field. :)
