    i, personally, like my lightweight littman. i don't have problems hearing with it. now, i don't work on a cardiac floor where i need to be able to listen to specific murmur disorders or whatnot, but i am able to easily hear adventicious lung sounds...

    most people in our nursing classes were 30s-50s. there were like 3 of us under the age of 25. i was surprised at that. i was also disgusted and blown away at how the "older crowd" complained about the work, nursing assignments, clinicals, etc more...
