I'm so happy:) that finally I get the first CNA job b/c I've been waiting for this great opportunity so long. I thought I was day-dreaming when I know I get the job but actually my dream come true. The orientation is on Monday and I'm very excited about it:lol2:. Now I need to buy scrubs but dont know where to get it. So please tell me where I can buy it offline. Also what color of scrubs are CNAs allowed to wear to work? I'll buy it asap once I receive the reply. Thx!!

Do you mean online? Go to this website: http://www.uniformadvantage.com They have very reasonable prices. Try to get them overnight. But if you start on Monday you better go over to the mall. There used to be a uniform store in the big mall in Milpitas. And there was a life uniform store on the street behind that big mall by Santana Row. I think it might have been on Forest Avenue. Look up Life Uniforms in the phone book. You should buy a solid color for Monday, or better yet, call the place you will be working at first and ask what color they want you to buy or if you can get anything. Ceil blue or seafoam green always work if you don't know what color to get.

I just looked them up, Life Uniforms is at 2475 Forest Ave., behind the mall. There was also a uniform store across the street from Valley Med Center, near one of those fast food places or a little further down the street. Hope you find something.

Thank you sooo much caliotter3 and franharmon for the replies, it help me alots:yeah:. caliotter3 - I meant I want to buy the scrubs at the store, sorry for the confusion. I would like to buy it online for the convenient but I think if I order it online I wouldnt be able to receive it on time. So I decide to buy at the store tomorrow that you two mentioned above, if one store ran out my size I would go to the next one. caliotter3 - thanks for the great link I'll try to order the scrubs online later when I need more scrubs. For now I plan to buy 2 sets of scrubs for the first shopping trip, I guess that's enough for the tryout:rolleyes:.

Thanks again you two for the great help:).

I bought mine at http://www.lydiasuniforms.com for $3.99 the quality is great and shipping was fast.

I went to life before that and thought they were ridiculously expensive.

Check with your facility to see what kind of scrubs that you can wear. They should have told you that when you were interviewed. Some places allow CNA's to wear any kind of scrubs they want, while others are color coded. One facility I interviewed with said all the aides wear ceil blue. One of my jobs gave us a t-shirt with the company logo & we have to wear khaki pants. My other job is color coded too: aqua & white. Before you invest in scrubs call the facility ASAP!!

Once you get the word, I say go to Linn Uniforms as well lol :) They have great scrubs & send out coupons all the time once you sign up for them. Check & see if your wal-mart sells scrubs. I hear all of them don't, but I'm not sure. The wal-mart near my house does, but the section was very tiny & not that great imo. And if you're interested in buying your scrubs online, www.tafford.com is really great too. They ship really fast, always have sales & have great quality. I always get compliments on my scrubs from Tafford :) Good luck & congrats on your job!

Buying scrubs offline? Walmart is usually open certain hours everyday. Also, the color of scrubs cna's are allowed to work at their job, varies from each facility. Ask a supervisor when you get the chance.

i always use salusuniforms.com.

you can get pants for 5 bucks. it is top quality and cheap.

Just wanna come back to update this...

So I called my facility and asked them what color of scrubs can CNAs wear and they said any colors. So I already bought 2 sets of solid scrubs, each set w/ different color. I happened to bought the scrubs at Walmart b/c it's the nearest store close to my house (20 min drive). The top is $12 and the pant I believe it's $15 dont know why the pant is cost more, hmmm:rolleyes:!

Do you know whether CNAs can wear the scrubs in lime green color, b/c I though it's a lil similar to the surgeon color. B/c that's my favorite color so just asking to make sure...

I own a few sets of "surgical greens" myself -- they are absolutely fine to wear on the job, especially since you said your facility stated that any colors were acceptable.
